This property was in an excellent location for side visits to Montreal and Burlington. Plans to go to Lake Placid were put on hold due to fact the bobsled run was not open. However, it was close enough for a day trip. The house itself was clean and adequately furnished. The kitchen had the needed utensils to make a meal. A supermarket was a short easy drive away. The water access from the house was there but because of the low level of the water one would need water shoes to navigate the shore. We did go to the Plattsburgh City Beach only 10 minutes away. Beautiful beach with a bar, bathrooms, snacks. Unfortunately the water was only knee deep. The water temperature was nice and warm so you could sit in it. Perfect for those with young children.
One could see beautiful sunrises from the covered front porch and we did so the 4 days of our stay.
My dog loved sitting on the porch and watching the waterfowl. The house is very dog friendly no rugs!
We had a problem navigating TV remote but it was quickly resolved with a phone call to John. E-mail questions were quickly responded to by John.
All in all a successful visit to the north country and Canada!
