Recent Taos vacation rental reviews

Great location, great views, very comfortable sleeping and enjoying the property. Would definitely book again.

So much better than a cookie-cutter anyone can remodel for a rental. This property is very special with lots of history evident in the design and furnishings. We had older kids in the casita and they were thrilled w the queen and futon. Casita bathroom looks like your grandmother’s before the remodel.

The house is in a nice location with it's proximity to downtown Taos. It was very clean and well stocked. The master bed mattress needs to be replaced and new sheets are needed desperately.

Explore our Taos, NM vacation rentals

Whether you’re headed out for a thrilling ski vacation or soaking up the summer sun, Taos vacation rentals keep you close to the action. Hugged by the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, this high desert town is famous for its historic adobe buildings, thriving art scene, and museums showcasing the area’s Native American heritage. Explore something new in your next trip away with a Taos vacation rental.

Where is Taos?

Taos sits near the Colorado-New Mexico border, where the state’s pine forests are thick and mountain adventure abounds. Taos Ski Valley’s slopes are a short drive into the mountains, about 18 miles outside of town. The Angel Fire ski area is about 24 miles from here, making a Taos cabin a great ski base no matter which slopes you choose. Santa Fe, a hub for art and culture in the Southwest, is an easy day trip about 70 miles down the highway.

Things to do in Taos

No Taos vacation is complete without a visit to the Taos Pueblo, a historic Native American pueblo made of adobe. The pueblo is open to visitors for a fee and shouldn’t be missed—it’s said to be the oldest continuously inhabited community in the country.

Back in town, browse the local art galleries and Taos Art Museum for another taste of local culture. There is plenty to peruse in the historic downtown district. Guests at our Taos cabin rentals have plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities besides skiing: try rafting or fishing on the Rio Grande, or book a ride on a hot air balloon right outside of town.

You can’t go wrong with a trip to a Taos vacation rental. Book one of our cabins here today, and you’re well on your way to enjoying New Mexico’s fresh air.
