Island Sands Resort - Maui Vacation Rentals

Location is great! Walk to the Aquarium and mini golf. Lots of things to do at the harbor. Not too far from most places. The unit is really nice. The lanai is protected from the wind. Beds were comfortable, kitchen is well appointed and there are bbq’s to use by the pool. Host was responsive. I would stay there again!

Very good location for staying in Maui. Close to everything if you rent a car

From the minute I opened the door to this home, the view brings a smile. Having the view from the kitchen, living room, and balcony was key to our stay. However, the location of the unit was great (3rd Fl), with easy elevator access. We used the kitchen for breakfast and dinner. The BBQ grill at the swimming pool came in handy. The grounds of Island Resort are beautiful well kept. We walked every morning to the Hawaiian General Store at the Trade Winds harbor, it was the perfect morning walk for a coffee, smoothie or breakfast sandwich. There is a brand new Starbucks around the corner that my friend went to every morning to tend to work using his laptop early every morning. Also, a nice touch to receive a zipper insulated bag filled with goodies and 2 nut lei's. A welcoming touch. Also, the wood floors throughout was comfortable along with the chairs, ice chest, beach towels, and ironing board. The apartment sized washer and dryer with the detergent supplied was very nice.
