Recent Brewster vacation rental reviews

The Brewster Getaway is a lovely Cape Cod home with good size bedrooms, a spacious family room and modern bathrooms. Everything was nice and clean. The home has everything you need. All linens including bath towels and beach towels were provided. The coffee station, the morning after a very late arrival, was a welcome surprise. Also, there is plenty of outdoor space for sitting, eating, and playing (though our three night weekend was rainy, so we didn’t enjoy the outside). Bikes in garage (while not used due to the rain) had tires pumped read to ride. We would stay here again! Cape Cod visitors should keep in mind most shops close at 5pm on Sunday. Our Lady of the Cape is just a few miles from the house.

We contacted Vacassa about the incoming Noreater that was projected to bring strong damaging winds, flooding and power outages the firsr day and night of our arrival. Research determined that it was unsafe driving to Cape Cod. After contacting Vacassa they refused to credit the first night. We arrived at the facility on the second day due to the potential for dangerous conditions. The home is is quite lovely and comfortable. Unfortunately though we had to supply coffee pods, tea and milk as there were no amenities in kitchen. Considering the daily fee to I would expect to have these things available.

Going to the Beach in Brewster, MA

The Old Kings Highway, also known as Route 6A, is lined with art galleries, antique shops, and historic mansions-turned-restaurants, inns, and shops. But it's also the access point for Brewster's saltwater beaches - all of which sit on the coast of Cape Cod Bay.

And if you time your visits for low tide, you'll find that you can often walk nearly one mile out into the lovely bay water.

Interested in exploring a few other nearby beaches? Spend a day (or several) wandering the 1,900-acre expanse of Nickerson State Park, which features an amphitheater, hiking trails, and an eight-mile biking path that connects with the famous 22-mile Cape Cod Rail Trail. Interested in playing a round of championship golf? The Captains Golf Course offers the 18-hole Port Course and the 18-hole Starboard Course, a staff of PGA professionals, and a well-stocked pro shop - all of which are open to the public.
