Recent Islander on the Beach - Kauai vacation rental reviews

We were very pleased with our stay. It was very clean, stocked well and had a nice view of the ocean. We could lounge by the pool, or walk some yards out to the beach. It was also walking distance to some very good restaurants and shops which was convenient. It was my first time to this island and I liked that this location ended up being in the middle of some of my favorite parts of the island. This made it easy and convenient to get around. I'm looking forward to coming back!

First I loved the price, especially since it was only: steps from the ocean, steps from a delightful coffee shop (only uses alternative milks!), steps to a wonderful pool area with hot tub w/a delightful pool bar, steps to a small marketplace that had pretty much everything you might need, steps to restaurants and cafes. In addition, it is in the perfect spot: 45 minutes to north shore, 45 minutes to south shore, maybe only 10 minutes from the airport, minutes to a Safeway and/or Big Save market. AND YET...you feel so safe and private (single women) and RELAXED. OMG have visited Kauai 2 times before but would never stay anywhere but here if I return! We saved a lot of money eating in-there was even 2 small fridges which really helped. They had really nice beach chairs, loads of drawers to store all your stuff...I could go on but you get the picture!
