Clean studio. Not to close, not too far from elevator and pay laundry. If you don't need a dishwasher, bbq, or pool, this is the place for you. The 2xtwin mattress issue has been resolved w/ new king. Could use a rubber bath mat for safety. Location is perfect. Walk to marina/ lagoon/Kahanamoku Beach. Express bus to Waikiki shopping and beach.

Great location and size! Clean when we got there. Great views. Only complaints would be the AC took a while to kick in on the hot days and the bathroom constantly smelled slightly like sewage

Honolulu: the heart of Oahu

Honolulu is the state capital of Hawaii, as well as the urban center of the state's most visited island, Oahu. Historic Pearl Harbor marks one end of the metropolitan area while the lighthouse and rocky cliffs of Makapu'u Point rocky cliffs stand at the other end.

Surfers make the pilgrimage to the Oahu's famous North Shore, where the waves at Waimea Bay and the Banzai Pipeline provide some of the best surfing on earth. The cute small towns (and excellent local seafood) of the North Shore are an easy day trip from Honolulu.

Things to see and do in Honolulu, HI

The ancient sport of Hawaiian Koa canoe racing is alive in Honolulu, with the Hawaii State race held here every other year. There's always plenty to do outdoors - kayaking, snorkeling, and surfing are favorite water activities, while those more comfortable on land will enjoy amazing hikes like Leahi (also known as Diamond Head), which provides a rewarding 360-degree view of the island.

Honolulu is rich with history, and venues like the Bishop Museum and Honolulu Museum of Art put the island's legacy on display. Visit Iolani Palace, America's only official state residence for royalty, for another slice of the island's story. During March, the festive Prince Kuhio Commemoration Parade celebrates the preservation of Hawaii's native heritage.

From upscale establishments like the acclaimed Alan Wong's to trendy spots like Lucky Belly ramen, Honolulu's food scene is global, yet true to its roots. There's something for every palate here - just don't miss the chance to try authentic Hawaiian shave ice!

Honolulu's magic needs to be experienced firsthand. Whether you're looking for a serene spot on the sand or the height of luxury, this Hawaiian city has all of it and more. Book one of our Honolulu rentals and be one step closer to your dream vacation.
