Great place on river with hot spring soaking and fishing steps away from cabin. Mike is an awesome host.

This was my second visit. The setting is perfect--you can stick around the property and enjoy the mountain life or head up or down the mountain for lots to do.

Proximity to the Crystal River was fantastic. Fishing from the bridge was great. Two-burner hot plate, toaster oven, microwave were all in great working order and let us cook some of our meals in the cabin. Mattress in bedroom needs replacing, two people tend to gravitate to the center of the mattress as in a V shape. Hot tubs are great, but need lots of cold water added to make it possible to enjoy the water. Great lighting above the table.

Consider a spa treatment at the Redstone Castle's on-site spa, or at Crystal Dreams Spa in town. Or, how about a soak in the thermal hot springs? You can pick from Avalanche Ranch's modern amenities, or the rugged, wild beauty of the Penny Hot Springs found along the banks of the Crystal River.
