The cabin and grounds were nice. Especially the natural hot springs hot tubs. The shower just wasn't great.

Staying here was a good way to end our Colorado family adventure. It is definitely on the simple side but has what you need—full fridge, microwave, toaster oven, etc. Would love for it to be updated a bit, but it was clean and served it’s purpose just fine. Mike the prop manager was very friendly and helpful. A few notes for those coming: —I was surprised you can’t see river very well from cabin. Have to go down rock path to get to river/hot tub with view of preserve. Not a huge deal but not what I envisioned of sitting on deck watching kids play in grass or see animals across the way —We really wanted to see animals!! We saw 3 deer run across the meadow and a few geese. Cool, but had expected more based on reviews. —The bridge has a no trespassing sign on it. Found out towards end of our stay that is for general public, not those staying on the property —admittedly it is August, but was super hot inside the cabin even with windows open. They supplied two small fans which wasn’t enough. When I said something they brought another small fan for which I was thankful. But if I were going again in Aug, I would ask if they have gotten box fans or would bring my own. —lots of mosquitos and even more gnats. Lots of gnats got inside the cabin even though we had kept screens closed. Not sure what can be done about this—they have bug zappers outside, we brought a citronella candle, put on big spray etc. and still got a lot of bites and had trouble sleeping bc of gnats It is a beautiful area and we would likely return.
