House

We absolutely adored this house, the location, the amenities and all of the special touches that not all home rentals come with. The coffee bar, fully stocked with beans, k pods, anything we might need for a cozy cup was a wonderful surprise. The refrigerator cooler came stocked with waters and soft drinks for our guests to refresh, the linens were like sleeping on a cloud. All the small things you might think you need to bring from home to fulfill your stay were thought of! The laundry facilities complete with everything you needed, kitchen fully stocked with all the spices you may need for a home cooked meal and every appliance you could think of (and more). Facilitating our large family in the 9 bedrooms gave everyone plenty of space to spread out, gather when needed and never felt crowded with so many dining options with the kitchen and dining rooms. We stayed in October and the views of the lake were spectacular with the foliage and sitting on the patio with the fire was a wonderful way to gather. We can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay and will absolutely be considering this venue for future large family gatherings. Thank you for the hospitality and warm stay!

Apartment

We contacted Vacassa about the incoming Noreater that was projected to bring strong damaging winds, flooding and power outages the firsr day and night of our arrival. Research determined that it was unsafe driving to Cape Cod. After contacting Vacassa they refused to credit the first night. We arrived at the facility on the second day due to the potential for dangerous conditions. The home is is quite lovely and comfortable. Unfortunately though we had to supply coffee pods, tea and milk as there were no amenities in kitchen. Considering the daily fee to I would expect to have these things available.

Studio

The room was spacious and comfortable. Little patio with chairs and coffee table overlooking a lawn, very nice to have coffee/wine outside. Great location close to nature trails, beach, restaurants. One negative is that the kitchen was not very well stocked. Bring your own spoons (there was only one), spatulas (the one we found was all cracked and flaky), salad bowl, better bring your own pans too as the ones provided were not in good condition.

House

The house is lovely and so welcoming. The fall flowers and pumpkins at the front door, to the bouquet on the kitchen island, and the ambiance lighting when we entered the house all said ‘come in and enjoy’. The house was super clean, and because we were 8 senior ladies, that was very much appreciated. Communicating any issues through the Vacasa app was easy with a quick acknowledgment, and the House Manager, Micholas, was very quick to respond and resolve them. All interaction with Vacasa was terrific. Our group was amazed at the level of detail to the occupants comfort from kitchen supplies and amenities like bottled water, coffees and other beverages, to trash bags, paper towels, plates and bowls, and of course every appliance that one could possible need. The bedrooms were all very comfortable, and the niceties of more than enough pillows, blankets, hangers, even books to read, games, and puzzles made things very ‘homey’. The bathroom amenities of soaps, etc. was a very nice touch and we totally enjoyed them. Emergency safety kit was commendable and it happened we used it for minor cuts. We were certainly appreciative of the multiples of night lights. Outside patio, pool and surrounding area had more than enough chairs, to enjoy the lovely view of the pond and the general quiet surroundings of the house. We truly enjoyed our stay at this house and are considering rebooking it again in the future.

Generally, food and drinks are allowed by—but not in—the pool. However, to be safe, it’s best not to use glass or china in the pool area.
