There are many wonderful things about Stony House that made our stay nice.
Upper level:
1) Kitchen: well outfitted with pots and pans, flatware, dishware, prep bowls, boiler pot, plus some basic spices, which we didn’t expect. Nice large refrigerator
2) Dining: great table with plenty of room, with solid chairs and an adequate padded bench
3) Upper-floor entry area: lighting and the table are adequate.
4) Living Area: great fireplace, seating, and lighting. Entry to the upper deck is adequate. Views spectacular. After we complained, a new BBQ was delivered, 7 days after we arrived.
5) TV room: Good size small table for games, leather swivel chairs, good TV size, couch (but broken down),
Lower Level:
1) Master bedroom: ample room, with closets, a chest, a wicker bench, adequate blankets, and nightstands. Good lighting. Good access to the hot tub. Plenty of bed and bath linens.
2) Master bathroom: Nice, large shower and very clean. (Could use hooks for towels, bathrobes, etc.
2nd bedroom: ample room with closets, a chest, a chair, and nightstands. Good lighting. Access to the hot tub through the gate outside the slider, although the gate latch is broken and very hard to open.
3) 3rd bedroom: Adequate and comfortable. Plenty of blankets, a chest, and a chair.
4) 2nd bathroom/laundry room: Shared by the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. Great large laundry/dryer machines. The bathroom area is very nice with two great windows over the tub/shower. The lavatory is adequate, very lean.
Entry foyer
1) Adequate but small.
2) Rugs, up and down stairs, are a good idea to reduce slipping.
