This property is situated in a lovely (but hilly - you don't get views without hills!) neighborhood that is a comfortable drive to Berkeley, Oakland, Sausalito, SF, and the vicinity.
Large, comfortable living/dining room with a huge table plenty of seating for hanging out, eating, playing games. As you can see in the accurate photos in the listing, one entire wall is floor-to-ceiling windows and a sliding door to the deck that displays the most spectacular view of the bay! There is a large TV, fireplace, games, and very comfortable sofa and chairs. The entry has a handy coat rack/organizer/shoe rack with plenty of hooks - a thoughtful touch. The wood floors pass the clean-sock/feet test.
The kitchen is separate (not open concept) from the living space and is really cute, spotlessly clean, well-appointed, and pleasant to use (we didn't cook, but were happy to fill our tumblers with lots of ice, and store our drinks and foodie souvenirs in the spacious, clean fridge). This is also where you'll find the washer & dryer, and a 4-person breakfast nook.
Each bedroom is airy, roomy and welcoming. Only the primary bedroom has a TV. Lots of closet space and storage areas. When we stayed, the weather was such that we didn't try to use heat or cooling. There's a small fan in the bedroom closet.
The two bathrooms are modern and clean, with heated toilet seats and bidets. Our three teens (including a daughter who usurps lots of surface area with all her stuff) were able to share space without complaint.
Echoing others' experiences of the driveway - I'm just glad my husband learned to drive in hilly Oregon, because if it was up to me to get our SUV turned around at the top to get back down, we'd have a problem. This is in no way a deal-breaker, but something to be aware of.
