Just down the hill, Black Mountain offers local boutiques, highly-rated restaurants, breweries, art galleries, and live entertainment. Black Mountain Golf Club and public tennis courts at Lake Tomahawk are within a few miles from the house while downtown Asheville, roughly 18 miles away, has tons more dining, shopping, entertainment, and landmarks including historic Biltmore House.
