Enormous Ocean View Homes with Firepit & Deck - Short Walk to the Beach

If you need a great spot on the central Oregon coast for up to 23 people, we have got just the place for you! Lincoln City vacation rental in the Road's End neighborhood has a total of seven bedrooms and five and a half baths.

Perfect for large family reunions, retreats, and whenever you need a coast getaways for a crowd, these two properties will house your large group in style! With both a five bedroom luxury home and richly-appointed two bedroom cottage, there's a wonderful spot for everyone to feel right at home. (However, please note that the occupancy limit is the limit for guests present at the home at any time, not just overnight - so parties such as wedding receptions or graduation parties are not permitted here.)

The larger home offers all the comforts you'd expect with over 4,300 square feet of luxurious beach living for up to 16 guests. With its beautiful ocean views and spectacular sunset scenes from almost every window, this lovely retreat can be summed up in two words - Practical Elegance. Featuring stunning maple hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, recessed lighting, and designer touches throughout, you'll never want to leave!

Inside, the large, open living room greets you with a comfortable, eye-catching interior. Butterscotch-hued walls with pops of white trim, large picture windows for ocean views, an oversized, sectional sleeper sofa, Oriental rugs, and framed artwork create a refined yet relaxing space. Perfect for hosting evenings for the whole group, there's plenty of room for everyone to come together and socialize - and a 50-inch flat screen DLP TV will make movie nights very popular!

Designed by a gourmet cook, the kitchen opens towards the spacious dining room and living room area. With its granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, the chef in your group will have fun preparing meals here. During reunions or retreats, gather everyone around and have a casual cookie baking class or teach the grandkids how to make the secret family recipe for clam chowder. The formal dining room has seating for 15 people with an additional seating option on the second level for eight more people, plus lots of extra room in the house to spread out.

Upstairs, there is a great room for playing pool or perhaps a friendly game of Texas Hold' em after dinner. Also ideal for just relaxing out on the deck and enjoying the views, this great room features a new eight foot pool table professionally installed and leveled, an eight person poker table, a gas fireplace, and a 32-inch LCD flat screen TV with all your favorite channels. The pub table, besides providing extra meal seating, is a great spot for the pool spectators in your group. A queen sleeper sofa just off the deck is all ready for the best sunset viewing of the house! The upstairs great room also opens up to overlook the kitchen and dinning room, so you're never far from what's happening down below.

The serene master bedroom has a king sized bed and ornate, wood carved bed frame. With a beautiful marble shower complete with four body jets, the en suite bathroom is sure to delight. A six-foot Jacuzzi soaking tub with its own heater is also on hand for the ultimate in relaxing. Throughout the house, each bedroom has its own unique look and feel and each is beautifully decorated with an eye towards soothing design. A kid's room has sets of twin bunk beds with bright, striped bedding, making every night like a fun slumber party. Everyone is sure to find the bedroom that best suits their tastes. Bathrooms are conveniently located throughout the home and there is a set of two washers and dryers for your use.

For two or three couples that want a bit more privacy from the crowd, the two bedroom cottage is a great option. The cottage is filled with comfortable leather furniture, shiny hardwood floors, a large stone fireplace with gas log insert, and a flat panel plasma TV mounted above the fireplace. With a living room boasting over 27 feet of windows looking out toward the beautiful Pacific Ocean, this cottage's panoramas rivals the views in the larger home next door.

The cottage has its own fully stocked and newly remodeled kitchen with a new side-by-side refrigerator with both water and ice in the door, a glass cook top oven, microwave, beautiful granite countertops, and dishwasher. On evenings when the whole group isn't next door for a meal, the cottage is equipped to keep its inhabitants full of healthy, homemade meals. The cottage has its own large wrap-around deck with a gas grill for even more outdoor meal options for everyone.

The cottage's main living area separates the two master suites, each equipped with a king-sized bed with pillowtop mattress, flat-screen LCD TV with built-in DVD player, and a private full bath. The main area has a half bath of its own, and there's even an ingenious queen-sized bed built into the wall. If you need to accommodate a few extra guests, just pull it down at night and tuck it away in the evenings so no one feels the least bit crowded.

Parking for both the house and cottage is limited to each home's driveway and the new gravel parking area just east of the main house. These combined parking areas should accommodate up to nine cars, depending on the size of the vehicles. If you need more parking there is an overflow parking lot on Logan Road just south of Liberty Inn, owned by Chinook Winds Hotel and Casino, where you can park extra vehicles.

On nice evenings, your group can wander over to the fire pit in the lot between the homes. Just bring down some lawn chairs, marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate bars for a s'mores dessert feast! Note: Please use the fire pit responsibly and do not leave anyone under the age of 21 at the fire pit alone.

As wonderful as the Crystal Rose vacation home and cottage are, the beach is what you're really here for! It's only a short five minute walk from the front door to one of the best stretches of sand Lincoln City has to offer! Large spotlights at night make this an ideal place for late night strolls or beach fire cook outs. Hunt for floats along the shore, fly a kite, or just wiggle your toes into the warm sand.

On rainy days you have many options. Chinook Winds Casino, with its world-class entertainment such as concerts, fine dining, and gambling, is less than a minute's drive away. In this part of Lincoln City, you're also closer to Spirit Mountain Casino than in any other part of town. Make the 28 mile drive for even more gambling and dining fun. Other meal options include the Nelscott for hearty, homemade breakfasts with the locals and Blackfish Cafe for some of the area's best seafood plates.

Boasting the largest factory outlet mall in the area, speciality shops, art galleries, and more, Lincoln City offers so much to do! You can bring your fishing poles and make the drive two and a half mile drive inland to Devil's Lake for great fishing. While there, you can also take advantage of water skiing and boating opportunities. No matter what activities your guests decide on, this Northern Oregon Coast vacation rental definitely has your large group getaway covered with practical elegance and an amazing location right near the beach!

Great location so close to the beach. Plenty of activities for the kids. We would rent this same house again.
Kaysi B. Jul 2022
Nice space and convenient location for our reunion.
Neal B. Jul 2022
The house (houses really) are comfortable and in good shape. Just a short distance up the street from the beach and you can see the ocean from the windows of the main house. The houses are room and had everything we needed during our stay. The pool table and table shuffleboard got a lot of use. The electronics in the house are pretty dated (some tube TVs, and VHS tapes without a player) but honestly, we didn't need them with the beach so close. Definitely would consider this house again for a large group like we had.
Sharon K. May 2022
We had a great time and the place was perfect.
Mallory J. Apr 2022
The home, the amenities, the property, and the location were all prime. Working with Vacasa was not. Initial access to the properties were difficult given that the lock boxes had the wrong codes. Receiving them took an hour of standing in the cold rain. Upon entry, there was spiders that negated one bedroom from being used. I would book only the cottage, and through someone else, if we were to come back.
Manager response:
Thanks for sharing your feedback with us, Mallory. We are sorry to hear about your experience and the service provided did not meet your expectations. We make every effort to give our guests all the information necessary to have a seamless check-in experience, as well as overall stay. It is disappointing to hear we have missed the mark and will take this as an opportunity to improve in the future. We hope to have a second chance to impress you.
Adam D. Feb 2022
We loved the location, layout and floor plan of the big house. The kitchen was very nice and well stocked. And the quick response of the local manager Mary Self helped a lot.
Sophy N. Feb 2022
Beautiful home for a family reunion.
Diane C. Feb 2022
Great ocean view and location.
Rick P. Jan 2022
The place was nice, held us all. Great views. Now on the flip side, in need of some maintenance. The main problem is the kitchen sink, finding hot water and no water pressure. The faucet has issues. Dishwasher didn't clean the dishes. Also paint was peeling off the hand rail to the stairway. Not really clean, under the TV and stands was a dust ball and the rugs were nasty.
Manager response:
Thank you for choosing to stay with us, Rick! We apologize for the maintenance issues you encountered during your visit. The sink has been recently looked at by a plumber and the water pressure is within the normal flow. The dishwasher is working properly. We have recently deep cleaned and tended to the carpets after a very busy high season. We hope to have another chance to impress you!
Judith H. Jan 2022
The two houses combined give you plenty of sleeping options for a large group. The two game rooms provided lots of entertainment during our stay. The beds were all very comfortable, but I’d recommend bringing your own pillows. The kitchen was well stocked but a few of the appliances need some tlc. The beach was a short walk away. Overall a nice coast getaway house.

We loved our time there! Great place to have a bunch of family together, nice location, wonderful amenities!
Mark B. Aug 2021
We were really pleased with our stay. The ability to have all of our kids and grandkids with us was wonderful. The space well accommodated our group and was well equipped.
Janice W. Jul 2021
Last week we had a most wonderful reunion and this property was a big part of its success! We rented both the home and cottage, giving us plenty of room for our family of 24 to gather in different age groups (the garage game room was a huge hit with the teens!). The adjoining yard was the scene of adult-teen football every evening. And the location was wonderful - a quick 5-minute walk to the beach! We appreciated the cleanliness of the property when we arrived and the quick responses to any questions we had. All agreed it was the perfect week in the perfect property for our reunion! THANK YOU!
Kevin C. Jun 2021
Over all - 5 stars. We loved this house and location. Would return without question. Great place for our family reunion with beds for all, space, and the dinning table was the best. Great place and space for a large group.

That said, kitchen appliances need work or replacement. Could not boil to big pots of water at the same time on the gas range - just not enough heat. Dishwasher racks are broken. Oven heat is not accurate. No measuring spoons or storage containers. No foil or wrap. Trash cans were 100% full when we arrived. Had to get ahold of someone from the property company who arranged for some of the trash to be removed. It is big house which means a lot of food prep for big groups. Hoping the kitchen is improved on before we rent again.
Amanda H. May 2021
The place was clean and spacious enough for our big bunch! It was a nice stay and a short walk to the beach, the views from the deck were amazing as well. I would stay here again. Only criticism I can give is the oven doesn’t work very well and cooks food uneven and slow so maybe a replacement or maintenance on this would be beneficial also the dishwasher didn’t work the best either but all in all great stay!
Amy C. May 2021
The house was great for our large family!
Makesia B. Feb 2021
I read the reviews and thought people were just being dramatic but, no the house is not clean. They charge one of the highest cleaning fees I have seen and the house is far from it. The washing machine has black slime and smells horrible, several broken things in the house dryer door, master bathroom shower handles, pool cues with no tips, ping pong paddles, falling apart, Foosball table guys taped on. Bedding not washed between each visit. Way better houses out there for less., or at least clean.
Manager response:
Hi, Makesia! We are working on replacing the shower handles since they installed improperly when the home was built. It will take some time but is in the process. The foosball table will be repaired, the ping pong balls and paddles will be replaced, and the cue tips have been replaced already. Thank you!
William B. Jan 2021
This was an amazing house for the price. Very beautiful and spacious. Fully stocked with everything you could need in the kitchen. The master bath was glorious. I loved all the games that were included pool table, shuffle board, ping pong, foosball, board games all in the main house. The cottage was cute and fully stocked perfect for the loner side of family to get away from main house.
Sylvia R. Aug 2020
love the house, it had all the rooms we needed and the cottage and location. What I did not like was the the home wasn't as clean as I thought it should be and the refrigerator downstairs wasn't working very well the drinks were lukewarm the dryers had tape on doors to keep them close. The cottage the sliding doors were not working and the vertical blinds were missing and broken.
Manager response:
Hi, Sylvia! Thank you for telling us about your Vacasa experience. Housekeeping has been advised of your concerns so we can be sure those oversights are addressed. Maintenance is looking into the fridge, and the owner is working with an appliance company to get the dryer fixed. Trash days are Mondays. We hope to see you again!
Diane B. Aug 2020
This property was great for our families, slept 19 people comfortably. And all of the game room options were a lot of fun! As noted in the listing, it’s a fairly short walk to the beach, but the house is at the top of a hill, so it was a bit of a trek to get to/from the beach. Otherwise this house was perfect!
Tina B. Jul 2020
When we got to the house we were not able to get into either house because the codes we were emailed for the lock boxes were incorrect. The local manager wasn’t available because it was a Sunday so we had to call Vacasa. I was on hold for 2.5 hours. Yep 2 and a half hours before I could reach Vacasa and then they gave me correct codes for both lock boxes.
Aside from that we had a nice time. We would probably rent the houses again and I realize it’s COVID but there really should be a better way to reach management when a person can’t access the keys to the house.
Troy W. Mar 2020
Things we good - we felt like we could ‘live’ in the house as things were nice but not super nice. It was fun and big! The TV didn’t have Direct TV except down in the garage. That sucked. Otherwise, not too bad!
Michele M. Feb 2020
We had a wonderful time with family, but the main house was very filthy. The kitchen faucet leaked and either ran scorching hot or cold. The showers did not drain properly so we had to stand in water while we showered. The ice and water dispenser in the refrigerator door did not work. In the cottage the Murphy bed frame was bent in the middle so it was like sleeping in a taco. The most unfortunate part is that the issues I mention were things that housekeeping and maintenance were aware of. They were issues that could not have been missed. A pan was under the sink to catch the leaks, when the bed was made the bent bed frame would have been noticed. We called Vacasa 4 times with no call back. This is our first experience with Vacasa.
Manager response:
We are sorry to see you did not have a smoother experience with us. The kitchen faucet is now fixed; we apologize it took so long due to working with a warranty claim. The shower drain has been addressed, the bed is fixed, and we are checking on the ice and water machine. We do apologize for the bed situation and hope providing the additional bedroom alleviated any inconveniences. Thank you!

A availability, cleanliness, size and all kitchen needs stocked and ready. There were however some small things that need to be attended to by Maintence crew. Thank you for your kind help. everytime I called. Your staff is very professional Will use your service again
Terry W. Aug 2019
House was perfect, comfortable for 23 of all ages. Lots of stuff to do in the area. I think the kids wanted to live on the beach. The nearby lake was probably the very favorite.
Bill D. Aug 2019
Our family had its annual reunion there in August 2019.
The location is great.
The main house has many positives, including the large dining table with room for many people to eat and talk; the well-equipped and spacious kitchen; the large living area; and the patio.
The responsiveness of Vacasa's local representative was very good when we had a problem with a mysterious beeping in the cottage (it was a dishwasher that had been left open).
The advertised capacity is misleading since it appears to be based on the use of rollaway cots that are far from "luxury."
The cottage is substandard. The doors (hinged and sliding) stick; some vertical blinds are falling down; the garage is a jerry-rigged eyesore.

Manager response:
Thank you for choosing Vacasa to host your family reunion! Maintenance has replaced the missing blind slats and will be taking care of the sliding doors as well. We hope to see you again!
Margaret S. Jul 2019
Great for a large group gathering, there were adequate dishes, pots and pans, short walk to the beach (although the access is a bit tricky for seniors or anyone with mobility issues) Working with VBRO was outstanding. I did call and report issues with the one bathroom etc. and I hope they will address my observations.
Kerry C. Jun 2019
Both the main house and cottage were spacious, lots of windows for amazing lighting and in a nice quiet neighborhood where you can sit on the porch and hear the waves on the beach. The beds were fantastic with most being king or queen and the kitchen was much better stocked with utensils and cookware than I had hoped for. The space in the home was vital to our gathering. It allowed all of us to gather together and provided sanctuaries to hide in when there was too much interaction. A 2 to 3 min walk to an amazing beach and 2 min drive to stores, resturant and main road into town. Loved the fire pit in the yard and both grills worked great with plenty of gas available. There were a few drawbacks. Right after arriving we had some questions and concerns and called the two numbers provided with only voice mails reached. I then emailed the local manager as instructed on the voice mail but never received a call or email reply during our two weeks there. We were never able to establish internet at the cottage during our stay even after resetting the system twice. We wanted to recycle quite a bit of material but there was no recycle bin available and there was some confusion about the day of trash pick up. The day mentioned in the instructions in our email and the cottage instructions on the wall in the main house were different. Overall the stay was very comfortable and we were well accommodated. I would definitely return to either of these homes again.
Tressia K. May 2019
We loved our stay at this beautiful home just a short walk from there beach. Staff was quick to reply to any emails or questions. We loved the location.
Doug F. Apr 2019
It was great to finally find a place with enough bedrooms and bathrooms for a large group.
Sharon R. Apr 2019
We enjoyed the large open living area and well equipped kitchen. We loved having the cottage next door for a more quiet place for the older generation to sleep. The games, especially shuffle board was quite a hit! Thank you for a great mini vacation!

Christine S. Dec 2018
House was roomy and fully accommodated our group of 12 adults & 8 kids. The massive dining room table had plenty of space for family style meals & for the kids to decorate Christmas cookies without falling all over each other. Proximity to the beach was nice - a short walk - and the hill gave a nice view of the stormy sea. Overall, a nice big family getaway.
Valerie K. Nov 2018
Great location to the beach and the view was super! The kitchen is stocked and the house was roomy. Really enjoyed our stay.
Julie O. Sep 2018
We were a group of 12 visiting Lincoln City For a pest control convention. We had plenty of room to spread out and no one felt crowded or on top of each other. Although we were there for work related things we enjoyed our time at the Crystal Rose. The beds were very comfortable the amenities were wonderful the only thing that was odd was the water pressure seem to have surges other than that it was a wonderful time.

KIDD T. Jul 2018
The veiw, clean room and convenient.
Lindsy K. Jul 2018
Amazing space, lots of bedrooms with both the house and cottage. Lots of room for everyone to play and relax and be together without being in each other's space :) Kitchen was wonderful and well stocked. Two sets of washer/dryers was a bonus and came in very handy. Kids loved the games upstairs and down. Loved all the windows. Big grassy area between the houses with a firepit. Chairs outside to relax. Several picnic tables to use. We had a lovely time.
Dorian H. Jun 2018
The house was spacious and there were plenty of things to do for all ages. We had kids ages 3 to 16. Everyone had a blast. No problems with rodents or pests. The guest house had an old house smell, but both houses were comfortable and had everything we needed to have an enjoyable, relaxing 3 days. The walk to the beach was nice, it is on a pretty steep hill, so it wasn't fun toting the little kids back after a day full of fun and sun (they had to be carried). There is a place to drive closer to the beach not far away, so that wasn't bad at all. It was a wonderful stay. Thank you!
Rajesh C. May 2018
We enjoyed staying in this beautiful, spacious home..
Cynthia M. Sep 2017
I made reservations online, received immmediate confirmation, received an instructive email well before our trip with directions to the property, instructions on how to access the property and internet and contact information if we needed assistance. It all worked flawlessly. Our group ranged from 7 months old to 81 years old. We made good use of the space and amenities.
JC F. Aug 2017
When we initially booked this property we found that Vacas had made a price error in our favor. We really appreciate their integrity and the fact that they honored this mistake. We had a wonderful vacation with many family members. We would recommend this rental and company highly to others.
Diana C. Jul 2017
We rented the big house and the cottage. Enough room for the crowd we had. It had a nice big yard for the kids to play in. Both houses are in need of deep cleaning and some replacing of beds and appliances. I would strongly incurage a rodent extraction. The price did not match the quality. Also 5 mins after we showed up the neighbor threatened to call the cops because our cars that were being unloaded were slightly in the street. That neighbor needs a chill pill. They stood out front and took pictures of us while we unloaded cars. Not pleasant when you are excited about your trip.
Kathy S. Jul 2017
The property is ideal for large families. We made much use of the huge yard and enjoyed the bonfires we were able to have. Location is convenient to many Lincoln City amenities and yet enough removed to have a good bit of peace and quiet. However, the property is lacking in maintenance and the rodent problem in the cottage property was unacceptable. Vacasa was not aware of the rodent problem until we reported it so I am hoping they take care of it before the next renters use the property.
Alison S. Apr 2017
This house has something for everyone to do. Tons of games to play and great outdoor space unlike any other home on the block. It was great having a fire pit at night to do smores and a great size kitchen for making large meals. It does not show in the pictures but has a huge paved patio with 5 picnic tables for outdoor seating too. We will definitely go back to this house again with a large group. If you want to be close to the beach it is a good 5-10 minute walk (longer with little ones) and rocky walkway to get down to the beach which can be hard for some.
Nicole M. Mar 2017
we spent a lovely long weekend weekend here with 6 couples (most of which have smaller children). Everyone was comfortable and the house was well appointed. We loved the walk to the beach and the beach itself. Also loved the safe neighborhood and easy access local grocery store and quick drive into town to Siletz bay for clamming and crabbing.
Khris N. Jan 2017
Our stay at the Crystal Rose property was delightful. There were 24 family members that attended our special Christmas getaway and we had an amazing time. The Crystal Rose property supplied everyone with something to do. We took advantage of most of the gaming tables (those that were functional) and the large dinning table sat 12 comfortably for board games and room for others to inner act. There was enough space for people to separate for naps and quit time. Be for warned if you need quite do not stay on the main floor of the large house. Better down stairs or in the cabin. Over all it was a dream come true vacation for our family. Thanks Vcasa we appreciate it. ;o)
Carolyn S. Oct 2016
This near-beach home provides an excellent gathering spot for large groups. Wide double dining tables create a square large enough to comfortably seat 16 adults....just what our family reunion called for. With some minor decorating upgrades plus more tumblers, coffee mugs, wine glasses, and a larger capacity coffeemaker, this place will be perfect.
Charles B. Sep 2016
we had 21 people for our birthday party and the homes were just great for us
Katrin S. May 2016
When we first came in the floors were dirty, the furniture had layers of dust on it. The jetted tub did not work. Kept calling the property to come fix it before we left. Still haven't heard back after 4 days. The kitchen kettle was not working properly, there are cob webs in the kitchen and almost every room. In all I probably won't come back or recommend this property.
Manager response:
We are incredibly sorry to see that this home was not properly cleaned and that we were so slow to respond. Housekeeping will make sure this home is taken care of, and we are actively hiring and training more agents for the phones so that we can respond in a more timely manner.
Eva B. Feb 2016
Some of the blinds in the cottage were in very bad shape and should be replaced and installed properly, but overall a large space for hosting and sharing with a big family.
Heather S. Dec 2015
This property is great for groups with so many bedrooms and entertainment. We used it for a company off site and we hope to come back when the weather is nice and make use of the outdoor space with picnic tables and a fire pit. Great location for a quick walk to the beach. Highly recommended!
Megan K. Jul 2015
This house and location were so great. We had 2 families in the cottage and 7 families in the house. It worked out great because the families in the cottage had young kids who needed naps and early bedtimes and were never disturbed by the noise of the other families having fun! The house had an endless supply of entertainment too! Between pool, shuffle board, arcade games, foosball and ping pong there was never a moment of boredom! The walk to the beach was a bit strenuous for the older folks in our group, but we were able to drive down the road and park close to the beach access path, still making it an easy trip. We had a hot dog roast in the firepit one night and utilized the yard for yes games. By the end of our 5 day vacation here none of us wanted to leave! This house was so fun, comfortable and had all we needed. Thanks for a fantastic stay!!!
Janette B. Nov 2014
WE found the Cottage very good for a small group stay. Would use the Cottage again .
Lucy L. Jul 2014
Perfect place for a family reunion. There is so much to do regardless of weather. We were fortunate to have great weather - but in the evenings the games and firepit kept us plenty busy. Plenty of fun things to do nearby as well. Great location! Devil's lake is 2 miles away. We would stay here again in a heart beat!
