Recent Maggie Valley vacation rental reviews

This cabin was in a great convenient location, with the Elk visiting often. Enjoyed having coffee on front patio in the morning while the Elks passed on by.

This property is located in a beautiful mountain edge small community within a few minutes drive of Maggie Valley. The wrap-around porch is wonderful, giving awesome views of Cataloochee, and the mountains you are in. Sunrises and sunsets were beautiful. You can see elk, visit an incredible motorcycle museum (Wheels Through Time), the Cherokee Nation's cultural and art museum, the casino, a national park, and incredible scenic drives easily within an hour and a half. Word to the wise for winter trips: the road leading to the property is steep, and state road maintenance ends roughly half way up. We had a mixture of snow and sleet one evening, and couldn't make it all the way back to the home. People that lived there did the same, and went to the hardware store to get 10 more bags of salt. Having said that, the views from the wrap-around porch were spectacular! Yes, I'd do it again

The house was lovely inside and out, Driveway is tricky navigating but we made it work. The house had everything you could possible need inside! The arcade game, ping pong table and board games were nice.
