We stayed in unit #3. At the end overlooking a little green yard space. Quaint little place for two. Maybe three if you have a small child. The location was great. A short walk (less than 2 blocks) to the beach. Unit was clean. You can get by with the kitchen for a quick easy meal, but if you’re planning to do most your cooking, you’ll want to bring more than just food, ie, spices, oil, foil, a couple of pans and coffee filters. Things I expected the unit to provide. The unit only had one small pan and a couple of small pots. We too had trouble with ants in the kitchen. Nice detachable shower head which made getting sand off easily. Furniture wasn’t very comfortable. Chair was pretty stained/dirty and broken in some, making it not to comfy to relax in. The futon was rock hard. The bed a little to thin and firm for my liking. The frogs at night are crazy loud right outside the door in the little pond. Cute though. Overall, probably wouldn’t book again, because the furniture for sitting needs an upgrade, (for when you are stuck inside on those super rainy days like we were 2 out of the 3 days there) otherwise, if you’re in for good weather, you might not mind so much. Last, the electric outlets are very worn and are chargers would not stay in them. We found one good one in the kitchen. Very tight on storage. No closet, so we had to keep the luggage in our car.

The cottage was cozy with a style fitting of the area. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The small kitchen was functional, but if you need a full kitchen bring your own personal items to use. It was missing some necessities. The bed was very nice. The fireplace was a welcome amenity after a cold day.

Very cute and cozy. Not sure if I'd rent again. Could not find the usual binder of info, nor any extra blankets. Kitchen had ants upon arrival, I took care of them - but they were back in the morning. Maintenance came out, placed traps and mentioned they had a plan.

Proximity to beach 1.5 blocks direct walk. Dog friendly, nice courtyard. There is definitely a sugar ant problem... setting some traps would be a good idea.

When I arrived the cottage was very clean and VERY HOT! I appreciated that I came into a cozy place especially when it was raining. The problem was, I couldn't get the gas stove to turn off! It ended up being a whopping 95 degrees inside. I could have easily called to get it fixed, but I opened up the windows and enjoyed the cool air. There were also two fans.

Other than the heating issue, I found the cottage to be a small distance from the beach. It took me about three minutes to walk down the street to access it. I was happily surprised, by how convenient the downtown area and the other main shopping area were located in relation to my cottage. I could walk either way. It was a quiet neighborhood too.

I stayed by myself, but I can see sharing the space with my husband next time. I don't think I would stay here with my kids though. It's a bit too small to have them sleep in the living room.

The place was very clean and had everything we needed. It was perfectly cozy for two humans and a small dog. And just a short 2-block walk to the beach and 8-minute walk to town. We loved the location near Haystack and the beach. Split between two parks Arcadia and Ecola gave us the ability to run and cycle along the coast line. We were able to make a great Thanksgiving meal for two with all the cooking utensils supplied and also enjoyed the gas grill for a couple of burgers. Will utilize again.

This is a very cute and clean 1 bedroom cottage, perfect for a couple or a family with small children. We had 4 adults and knew it would be a tight fit, but we're a close family, and the weather was great so we spent a lot of time outside. The pull out futon is the size of a double bed, and was not super comfortable for 2 adults. The cottage was well-stocked and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hidden Villa Cottages!!! The units were small, but very comfortable! The futon in the livingroom was very comfortable for our third person!! The queen bed was SO comfortable!!! We slept very well! The unit was clean, and very comfortable. At night we heard, what we thought, were bullfrogs croaking. They were delightful to hear. We searched for them every night!! Other guest's kids would also search. The sounds were coming out of two bushes, and in the little pond on the grounds. We enjoyed hearing them, but never were able to spot them. While we were sitting out in the common area one evening, a couple stopped by on bicycles. They thought the cottages were so cute, and they wanted to know who they could talk to about renting one. I gave them the information. It was a delightful stay! Thank you Vacasa!!!

The location of the cottage was perfect, just a block away from the beach! The cottage itself was cozy and perfect for the two of us. I wouldn't suggest staying here with more than two people. It could use some deep cleaning of cracks, floors, etc. but it was good overall. They have a good parking plan for one car per each cottage however folks apparently can't follow simple instructions, something that could probably use sole monitoring! I would stay again if me and my husband take a trip without the kiddo again!

For the most part, our stay was spent at the beach or at local restaurants; but when we needed a break, the cottage was a cool and quiet retreat. The sound of the fountain just outside was a nice addition.

It was great to have a refrigerator and freezer to store leftovers and ice for our cookouts on the beach. The location made for a pretty short walk back when we needed to pick up more food/drinks or someone needed to use the restroom.

This cute cottage has been tastefully updated while retaining the best of its period. Loved the breadboard walls and a toilet seat and hinges NOT made of plastic! A great surprise benefit was the water element right outside our door. With the windows open we could here the soothing splash, splish., splish. Love that!
Location was so good because we could walk to beach, I to town, or the opposite way to Tolovana area for for and markets. What a great stay.

Stayed here for our anniversary and brought our 2 kids (4&1 year olds). Loved the proximity to the beach. Enjoyed the surrounding area. A trip to Pelican Brewing is a must. Very accommodating to the kids. Be prepared to use the on-site grill as the kitchen is very small and the oven made the entire place very warm. Other than that, a lovely property and the kids loved the pond, bridge and croaking frogs.

The location is perfect, and the place is tiny. If you plan on just needing a place to crash with a full kitchen this is perfect. Note if you are a sensitive sleeper this might not be the place for you. There are frogs that occupy the pond in the property and can be quite loud but I didn't mind it.

Stayed in cottage #3 for several days in March, 2016. Tidy and clean space, inside and out. The shared courtyard is sweet and inviting with a small fountain, artificial stream and frogs croaking at night. The 1-bedroom cottage is advertised as sleeping four but I can imagine that it would feel crowded fast if the occupants were four unrelated adults. The kitchen includes an electric stove, a microwave, a fridge, and a coffee maker but it's not as well-equipped as many other guest houses. The plates and flatware are limited; after each meal, you'll be washing dishes. The TV is old(er), possibly from the late 90s? No sound system for iPhone, Android, etc.

BUT this cottage provided safe and nice lodging. And, when you go to the Oregon Coast, it's really about the beach and the surf, not so much about the lodging. Plus, the cottage allows dogs--again, I want to emphasize that, upon arrival, it was very clean. No sign of previous cats or dogs who might have visited. The price was competitive and I would consider staying here again.

The location is very good: only 2-3 easy blocks to the beach, 2 blocks from local coffee shops and restaurants and 5 blocks from the downtown core.

Checkout time is 11:00 a.m. and by 11:01 a.m., somebody will be knocking on your door to clean it for the next guest.

We love this little place. This is our second time visiting and will continue to make it an annual trip. It was one of the few places that allows us our full pack of 4 dogs. There are nice shared grassy areas for the dogs to dry off after the beach with plenty of outdoor chairs to hang out in. We love how close to the beach it is (an easy block and a half). As well as a close walk to downtown shops and our favorite coffee stand.

My sister and I stayed here for a weekend away. Perfect location for exploring Canon Beach. Easy to walk to the beach, coffee shop, convenience store, a few restaurants. The center of town is a bit further away but again, a very easy walk on the sidewalk and you're right in the middle of it.

The cottage has one bed and a futon. Sheets and blanket are provided for the futon. Plenty of towels and very clean. The kitchen is sparsely stocked: only had salt and pepper. We left our olive oil behind for the next guests (so handy to have!).

There is a small fountain in the center of the cottages which is peaceful to listen to and helps keep the noise from other cottages down. The units are close together so I imagine if there was no fountain you would be able to hear conversations etc quite easily.

Would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for simple, clean, no frills accommodation! We had an excellent weekend here.

We just got home from an amazing trip to Cannon Beach. It was our first time and we loved how close the cottage was to everything. The cottages are cozy and have all the basics like a kitchen with stove, fridge and microwave. The courtyard also had a little sitting area with a BBQ so we spent an evening out their with our neighbours as well. Our kids loved the beach and we spent the nights having a bon fire down there. We just stayed here for 3 nights and the property was exactly what we expected. It was a cozy cottage perfect for two (and a dog). Yes, space is limited everywhere but since it was a short stay, we were able to find the space to put our things out of the way. The kitchen had most of what we needed- and whatever was missing was just a 10 min walk away at the Mariner Market- and the rest of Cannon Beach. The only critique was the lack of a hair dryer and we didn't have anywhere to hang our jackets (the only hooks in the bedroom were occupied with our clothing).

This cottage is a great option for a visit to Cannon Beach. We will definitely be back!

We rented this cottage, for our 2 night stay at Cannon Beach. It was very clean and close to everything. If you want to cook, all kitchen utensils are provided along with a BBQ grill in the common area. This was a great stay for us.

My husband and I spent four nights in Hidden Villa's #3 and couldn't have been happier. These 1930's cottages have been completely remodeled, yet keep the original character and charm. Though the cottage is tiny, we were very comfortable, and even managed to cook,up a full-on Thanksgiving dinner!

The best part, though, is the location. An easy, block-and-a-half walk to the beach makes this little spot an ideal accomodation. We'll be back!

We stayed at the Garden Cottage for 4 nights - this was our first visit to Cannon Beach. We loved the location, so close to everything, especially the beach! The cottage was super clean and cozy. We would definitley recommend it and would stay there again!

Darling cottage and the service was incredible. We departed the premises and the staff immediately texted us to see if we left a watch behind. The offered to mail it to us. I was so impressed with how friendly and helpful they were. The cottage was tidy, very small for 4 friends but we managed well and enjoyed the outdoor water feature.

This was a great place to stay for our family of 4 plus little dog. It was very clean. It had absolutely everything we needed. On nice evenings, a lot of people walk down to the beach, bringing chairs, and build bonfires. Next time we'll bring our camp chairs.

The cottage is so cozy. It's our second time staying here. The cottage has everything we need. The owner did a lot of improvement over the year to make the rooms more appealing. We love it and will definitely return.

It was a really fun, cute little cottage to stay for two days in Cannon beach. I went with my mom and cousin and it was the perfect amount of room for 3 people. It's also in a great location and easy walking distance to the beach. It's pricey for one night (total came to $200) but would definitely stay here again.

This was my second stay at Hidden Villa Cottages. They are clean, well-maintained, and an easy walking distance to everything in Cannon Beach. The sound of the water in the courtyard is relaxing and very peaceful. A nice retreat to return to each evening.

The cottage was very quaint and cozy. Perfect for my boyfriend and I during our 2 night stay. The place didn't feel new, but felt clean and up kept enough. It had everything we needed for a comfortable trip. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the basic cooking amenities so it was easy to make breakfast and simple lunches/dinners. Living room was small but just enough for two adults to watch TV and cuddle by the fireplace and play board games. The only thing I wish were better during our stay was the WiFi. It was pretty weak and inconsistent most of the time and would only work in one spot of the cottage. That being say, our stay was wonderful and I would return again on another trip!

Stayed here with 2 adults, 1 toddler and 2 dogs and although it's a pretty small place it felt spacious enough for our 3 night stay. Loved how quiet it was, and the sound of the water feature just outside the cottage. We really enjoyed our time at the cottage, and plan to stay there again.

This was our 3rd or 4th stay at Hidden Villa. We enjoyed the coziness of the cottages and our Golden Retriever was very appreciative of the dog friendly atmosphere. We did miss seeing Linda, the owner this time.

just couple minutes walk to haystack rock. we loved the cottage. Very carefully and artistically done. Would appreciate if they add a hairdryer to the other amenities.

We had stayed at the Hidden Villa for the past 3 summers, and this was our first visit since it has been managed by Vacasa. We were pleased to see that everything is nearly the same - great little cottages with everything you need for a quiet, relaxing time near the beach. The couched looked as though one of the canine guests had gone after one corner, but otherwise all was well.

The Garden Cottage was very cute and clean. We loved that we could bring our dogs. There are a good amount of pet-friendly places that are not as well kept as the Garden Cottage, so we are very happy to have found this place. We will be back!Thank you so much!

Overall, we were very happy with the cabin - tidy, clean, tastefully decorated. The only reason I gave it 4 stars for condition/cleanliness is because we noticed tiny ants after a day, which seemed to multiply in time. We attributed the ants to the weather - very soggy and wet with few sunbreaks - since the place was otherwise immaculate.
