The main living area features several comfy couches and armchairs, as well as a flatscreen TV with streaming capabilities and a DVD library. Just off the living room is the kitchen, which has all the amenities to prepare everything from light snacks to full feasts. Downstairs you’ll find the main bedroom, and up the steps are two more, plus a bathroom with a tub only. Nearby, all the amenities at Trout Creek Rec Center are at your fingertips for a small daily fee, such as a swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, tennis courts (in summer), a ping pong table, and basketball court. During the summer, you can use the facilities at Tahoe Donner Beach Club Marina as well for a small fee. Lake Tahoe, downtown Truckee, and world-class skiing are all nearby as well. No matter the time of year, you’ll surely make some memories in this rustic rural retreat.
