Golden Saddle - Joseph, OR

The Golden Saddle is a beautiful, custom-built log home on the west side of Wallowa Lake. It's perfect for your family vacation, a couples' getaway, or a romantic weekend, offering an expansive deck with breathtaking views of Wallowa Lake, the Eagle Cap Wilderness, and the awe of the east moraine.

Step inside to find four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and incredible views and workmanship throughout. Downstairs, there's a tiled great room with a large flatscreen TV, a game table, and a pool table for your nightly entertainment. The main level boasts newly refinished hardwood floors and a recently remodeled kitchen with stainless steel appliances and beautiful granite countertops. The living area offers another, smaller flatscreen TV, leather furnishings, a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, and sliding glass doors that open onto an expansive deck overlooking Wallowa Lake and your own private boat dock.

The primary suite on the main level offers an adjoining bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and a stand-alone shower. The downstairs bedroom has an adjoining bath with a large, tiled shower. The upper level is home to two more bedrooms as well. At night, you'll settle into comfortable beds, luxurious bed linens, and high-quality bath towels and rugs in each bathroom. Your comfort is our top priority!

Things to Know
Boat docks are seasonal, therefore, access to the lake from some lakefront homes is seasonal.
We try and keep the docks in from May 15 until September 10, approximately. However, if water levels drop below safety levels, they will be pulled sooner. This is considered an act of nature - no refunds will be given if we do have to pull the docks early.
No cable service, but there is a media streaming device/DVD/VCR
Please note that the stairs down to the boat dock are steep
This is a no-shoes home on the main floor and upper floor; please pack accordingly
No fires or firepits are ever allowed due to the heavy timbered area and county restrictions
Do not exceed the occupancy or parking limits at any time
If you are looking for a place to gather with others nearby, please use Wallowa Lake State Park, Little Alps Day Use Area, Joseph City Park, and the north and south day use/boat launch areas

• 2 dogs welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval.
• Parking notes: There is parking for three cars. This property does not allow boat trailers; the day use areas have boat trailer storage. Please leave the driveway in 4 wheel drive. (Or low for automatic transmission cars).HIGHLY recommended 4X4, chains and/or traction tires for winter driving.
• Guest entry instructions: This rental utilizes an E-lock, a digital lock that requires a unique code to enter. This code is reset after each guest's stay.
