Set on the fourth floor with no neighbors above, this two-story condo features vaulted ceilings, plenty of natural light, a fully equipped kitchen, and gorgeous ocean views from your private covered balcony.

The bright living area offers a comfortable sleeper sofa and flat-screen TV, while the kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, along with a breakfast bar for two and dining table for four. The condo sleeps up to six guests, with a king bed in the peaceful primary bedroom, two twin beds in the loft-style guest bedroom, and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room. Two bathrooms include a tub/shower combination and a walk-in shower.

Relax on your private ocean-view balcony or take advantage of Maui Vista's community amenities, including three unheated pools, six tennis courts, and a barbecue area with gas grills and a picnic table. Complimentary Wi-Fi and an in-unit washer and dryer are also provided.

While there is no central air conditioning, ceiling fans and a window AC unit provide cooling as needed. When you're ready to explore, Charley Young Beach is just across the street, with local shops and restaurants along South Kihei Road just a short stroll away. Maui Brewing Company, Maui Nui Golf Club, and Wailea Golf Club are all within a few miles. For larger groups, an additional unit managed by Heavenly Vacations by Casago is available in the same complex.

Guests at Maui Vista in Kihei enjoy access to a shared outdoor pool and an elevator serving the building. The complex sits an easy walk from the beach, with landscaped grounds and outdoor seating areas to relax in. In unit laundry and a private entrance add convenience to your South Maui stay.

The neighborhood:
Maui Vista places you in the heart of South Kihei, across from the beach and close to the easygoing restaurants that make this stretch of Maui so convenient. Charley Young Beach is an easy walk for a soft-sand morning, while Kamaole Beach Parks I, II, and III line the coast nearby for swimming, snorkeling, and sunset walks. South Kihei Road brings coffee, casual meals, and groceries into the daily orbit. It is a practical, beach-centered neighborhood for a couple or small family who wants the freedom to leave the car parked.

Getting around:
Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.

• Unassigned parking is provided for one car in the open community lot. Street parking is not available.
