Maui Kamaole's South Kihei address places Kamaole Beach Park III directly across South Kihei Road, a very easy walk for swimming, snorkeling, and the kind of sunset stroll that does not need an agenda. Go north along the coast for the other Kamaole beaches and local meals, or head south toward Keawakapu Beach and Wailea. Back at the resort, pools, tennis, the spa, and barbecue areas make a low-key day easy. This neighborhood works well for guests who want beach access paired with a quieter garden-side return.

Getting around:
Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.
