Recent Copper Mountain vacation rental reviews

Condo is in a good location and has relatively nice amenities including 3 hot tubs. Condo had all we needed for a family ski weekend.

We stayed in 101. Awesome location across from bus stop, sauna across the hall, hot tubs right out the door. It was 4 degrees, howling wind and blowing white out snow. We initially had no heat. Immediate response to our request for assistance and hooray heat. They did have an electric space heater and gas fireplace which saved us! A few more warm blankets available would help. Kitchen was well equipped, big bathrooms, comfy beds. Giant TV. Good WiFi. Parking in warm garage underneath. Plenty of storage for skis and gear. Check-in is in a different location requiring 2 bus trips. It was not clear to us where to go. The people staying there tried to help. We finally ended up at another rental location who called a shuttle and got us to where we needed to go. There was no one there, you have to use codes several times to actually get your key cards. Then ride bus or drive on one way roads to return. Check-in could be a little clearer especially for someone new to Copper Mountain.

This property was in a stellar location at Copper Mountain- steps from the American Flyer lift in one direction and in the other direction just a bit farther from the ski school in West Village. The house had plenty of space for our group and the kitchen was nicely stocked. Humidifiers in each room and the radiant floor heating kept us very comfortable throughout the stay. A previous review mentions that the primary room en suite bath didn’t have hot water. It’s actually that the water lines are switched, so the hot water was very hot- you just have to turn the handle a small amount to get there compared to normal. The garage had great storage options for our gear along with much-appreciated boot dryers and storage racks for hanging gear. Overall, we had a great stay- highly recommend!

Known for its naturally divided terrain with distinct areas for advanced, intermediate, and beginner trails, Copper Mountain welcomes guests of all ages and levels of experience. If you aren't feeling confident on the slopes, stop by the Ski & Ride School for a half- or full-day lesson. Additional attractions include a tubing hill, West Lake ice skating, and the Woodward Copper, a unique indoor freestyle training facility that is open to the public.

Whether you're a snow bunny or prefer a warm seat in the lodge, you're in luck when you stay in one of our conveniently-located vacation rentals! While the kids are enjoying the slopes, treat yourself to a relaxing spa package at the Copper Mountain Spa & Athletic Club or a delicious dinner at the on-site restaurant.

Places to eat in Copper Mountain

When you need a break from outdoor activities or have just worked up an appetite, Copper Mountain certainly has a lot of dining options! From waffles at the Belgian Bean to sushi at the Storm King, the resort has a number of dining options when you don't feel like making a meal back in the kitchen of your Copper Mountain ski chalet.

Summer activities in Copper Mountain

In summer, the same area that was once covered by a blanket of snow hosts the Ragnar Relay, a popular and grueling relay race from Copper Mountain to the Snowmass Ski Resort in the upscale city of Aspen. For a less strenuous activity, you can ride the Copper Mountain chairlift for a day of hiking around mountain wildflowers, ride hundreds of miles of mountain bike trails, or play a round of golf at the Copper Creek Golf Course.

Other outdoor activities can be found to the north, at the Eagles Nest Wilderness Area. A unique area, this breathtaking section of the Gore Range has more vertical than horizontal space! About 180 miles of trails lead to an alpine lake and, although hiking in this area can be difficult, it is worth the reward.

You'll find that all of Summit County's attractions are within an easy drive from your front door - skiing, hiking, biking, shopping, dining and more! Come experience this truly jaw-dropping Colorado destination for yourself when you stay in one of our Copper Mountain vacation rentals.
