This is a great 3 bedroom cottage 3 blocks from Nauset Beach. Great outdoor space. Perfect for a family of 5-6 people

Cute home only a couple minute walk from the beach. Very clean and lots of space. Saved us the $30 for beach parking. Great for families. Highly recommend!

We totally loved our stay. Great location. Nice space and well cleaned and prepped.

We loved staying in this perfect Cape Cod home! It was very comfortable, clean and had a well stocked kitchen for cooking meals. The best part about staying here was the proximity to the beach! We literally walked out the door and were down at the waters edge in less then five minutes! Everything about this place is spot on and exactly as described. We actually wondered if they had beach chairs we could use and found a closet full of them along with big beach towels to borrow. It really was a perfect stay for the few days we had to enjoy the Cape. A+

Well stocked house. Anything we wish would be there was there. Felt like home.
There is no dishwasher, which I didn’t notice before coming. We ended up getting more paper plates than was left behind by others to reduce time spent on dishes.
There is no outdoor shower, but a hose in a bucket, at the side entrance. It did help us not to get sand into the house and rinse water shoes etc. .
This whole area, including Nauset beach has bad phone reception. No data connection whatsoever unless you are on wifi. So, if you wanted look online and order food from the beach for dinner, forget about it. Once you get back to the house, you can look at the menu and order online if the place offered it (unfortunately many have limited time to order online). But ordering by phone is a challenge of running outside of the house to strategic locations where you can get a bar.

This house is so close to Nauset beach, it is very easy to walk there even with little legs! In addition, the layout is convenient and the enclosed front yard a nice place to let the kids play outside when not at the beach.

We had a great stay and it was nice to be able to walk to the beach and not have to pay for parking

This small home is located just a 5 minute walk to Nauset Beach, which is really its only redeeming feature. The house had a funny, overpowering smell when we came in, probably from whatever cleaning supplies were used. It dissipated in a day or two. The decor is Cape Cod flea market. The rugs were stained and old. The kitchen needs a major facelift - the cabinets are old, the wallpaper is tacky, the linoleum floor is a real throwback, and there's no dishwasher. There is, however, a washer/dryer in the middle of the kitchen. The beds were firm and uncomfortable. Supposedly there's an outdoor shower but we didn't find it. The "deck" on the side of the house was not accessible from inside, and it's smaller than expected. There's no attention paid to landscaping. This house really can't compare to similar houses in the area, but you can't beat the location, and the rate was reasonable. With a little TLC and investment, this house could be a real dream.
Manager response:
Thank you for your feedback, Richard. Our photos and virtual tour provide an in-depth look at the home's layout and design, though we also encourage guests to reach out with any questions or concerns before booking, as we are happy to help. We apologize for any misunderstanding: this home is not advertised as coming with a dishwasher. We have shared your comments regarding updates needed with the local manager who will work with the homeowner to make any necessary improvements. We hope to have the opportunity to impress you in the future!

The location is fantastic, the house is extremely clean and cozy, and perfect for a family with young kids. The fenced in front yard is also great for finishing the afternoon after a day on the beach.

This cottage was beachy, comfortable and very clean. It had everything we needed and was a 5 minute walk to Nauset Beach. Everything was super easy. It was a great getaway.

We rented both the top and bottom unit of this vacation rental and we loved our stay here!
This home is very clean and charming, and it is so well stocked. It has everything you would need in the kitchen, and the linen closet has many bath and beach towels. There are great board games for families, as well as beach chairs, lantern, bug spray, just about everything you could think of. The owner/manager is very thoughtful, leaving mini-sized dishwashing soap, sponges and laundry pods.
The location is the best! We walked to Nauset Beach several times per day, and it took less than 5 minutes from the front door to the sand.
We loved our time here and plan to return next year!

This cottage/house has everything you could possibly need for a wonderful stay on the Cape. It's located less than a 5 minute walk to Nauset Beach; so you can hear the surf all the time while you're at the cottage. A couple minutes drive, and you're in the center of Orleans. And, it takes only 45 minutes to get to Provincetown. With three large bedrooms, a very large living room, and very large kitchen, there's plenty of room to relax, especially if it turns out to be a rainy day. If you're looking for peace and quiet on the Cape, this is the place to be!
Eugenie W. Jul 2018
The location of the house was fantastic. It was a short walk to the ocean; 500 steps and/or a five minute walk.
The house was well supplied with towels and sheets and the extras to make the stay that much more comfortable; small bottles of shampoo and conditioner, dish washing liquid, washing machine powder, a great Cape Cod map book, flashlights, beach chairs, etc. The house was comfortable and pleasant, and other than being right on the beach, the location couldn't be better.

2nd year in a row and this one is a winner. Nice, quiet town, yet close to the beach and other activities on the Cape!

Walking distance to the beach. Clean house.

I stayed in this property for 3 nights. It is a 3 bedroom one bath and a hall with kitchen apartment. My little ones were never bored with lot of stuffs to play with. The beach is very close to the property. I traveled to Martha's vineyard, provincetown. The places are amazing. It was a great stay there.
Danna M. Oct 2017
A large, comfortable cottage that is well stocked, and well maintained. The biggest benefit of this cottage is the closeness to the ocean! With the windows open, you can hear the surf; day and night. Three large bedrooms, with all the extra pillows and blankets that you could need; and plenty of air conditioners and fans. Over all, a perfect place to relax and unwind.

We'll be definitely going back!

This is a great house to rent but you are only renting the upstairs. There are other renters in the downstairs unit.
We loved the location and the size of the home. It had everything we needed and I couldn't suggest anything to add or change. Bedrooms are a good size & the bathroom is nicely updated. Outdoor shower is not convenient for the upstairs renter as you have to walk down the road to the downstairs unit to use it. Also, it is an open shower (not a stall).
Michael B. Sep 2017
Had a great stay, well supplied with everything needed, clean and comfortable and couldn't be any closer to the beach. Highly recommend it, just not the weekend after Labor Day.

Great stay!
Sondra L. Jun 2017
I am extremely pleased with everything about renting from We rented a beach house on Cape Cod, Massachusetts and it was well kept, clean and completely stocked with anything you could possibly need. The kitchen has everything your kitchen at home would have, minus groceries of course but everything else was fully stocked right down to spices, cooking oils, foil, plastic wrap, baggies, fine cuttery, a very nice keurig, coffee pods, dishes, bowls, pots, pans and containers. The beds were freshly made with fresh linens and there were plenty of clean towels. There was a washer and dryer and plenty of extras around the house, family games, puzzles, and very nice hi-def television with cable and free internet and the price for the 3 bedroom cottage could not be beat. Prime location too! Just steps to Nauset Beach! I was so more than satisfied and will book again next summer!
Marianna C. Jun 2017
House nice, very clean, perfectly located near the beach. I would totally come back and would recommend it 100%
Chris M. Jun 2017
The location of this home to beautiful Nauset Beach is fantastic. You can literally see the ocean from the driveway. House had plenty of room for our family of 4. Appreciated the remodeled bathroom.

We had a wonderfully busy weekend. Walked to the Nauset Beach each day. Enjoyed the convenience of being close to downtown to shop and rent bikes to go on the RailTtail Bike Trail. Orleans is a wonderful little town . Lots of great eating places and also close to a beach to see an incredible sunset. Follow 6a west from Orleans and turn right on Crosby Rd. Free parking and georgeous sunset. Less than a 6 minute drive.
