There are a ton of fantastic saltwater fish like Spanish mackerel, redfish, and pompano, and you might just catch a glimpse of a whitetail deer, and see some dolphins at the waterline and shorebirds skating along the waves. At Grayton Beach State Park, which is part of the Great Florida Birding Trail, nature lovers can also spot a variety of rare birds. It's all just four and a half miles west.

THINGS TO KNOW

• This complex's stairs will undergo construction in June 2023 with an unknown completion date. The daily timeframe will be from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday - Friday (possibly some Saturdays). During this period, temporary stairs will be available, as well as the elevator in the middle of the building for guests to use.
• Beach chair & umbrella rentals available for a fee (seasonal).
