This modified A-frame is luxuriously spacious from the outdoor deck to the inviting interior. Standing out from other more woodsy lodge-like Tahoe vacation homes, this one is brighter and airier with its white vaulted ceilings.

In the living room, young guests will have plenty of room to play on the soft carpet while adults relax around the gas fireplace (available only in the winter months) on piles of cushy pillows. For entertainment, you can stream music using the WiFi and provided sound dock or play movies with the VCR or DVD player on the cable-equipped TV.

With room for up to six, there are lots of cozy spots to rest up. On the ground floor is a room with a queen-size bed and a sliding glass door opening to the trees outside.

Upstairs, you have a second room with another queen-size bed and a comfy armchair. The loft includes two twin beds with colorful quilts and a woodland-themed futon. There's also a sofa bed, and, if you have young ones along, there's a crib for your convenience.

Love fixing a filling meal for your crew? The super spacious, fully stocked kitchen has all the tools you need for a pancake breakfast before heading out. There's also a convenient washer and dryer in the kitchen for those surprise spills.

Guests at this home have access to the Tahoe Donner Trout Creek Recreation Center. Here, you'll find plenty for kids and adults to enjoy like a pool, shared sauna and hot tub, fitness center, tennis, and basketball. Please note that there is a small fee to use these amenities.

If you have watercraft or want to rent one, just three-and-a-half miles away is the Beach Club Marina on Donner Lake. Here, you can get kayaks, stand-up paddle boats, or even just sit under the sun and enjoy the view from shore.
