There are also several beautiful forested state parks up and down the coast from here - Boiler Bay State Wayside and Fogarty Creek State Park are both within a four-mile drive north, as well as Rocky Creek State Wayside six miles south. Since Depoe Bay itself has a rocky rather than sandy coastline, Fogarty Creek is the easiest and closest place for beach access, though you could also get to the shore in nearby Gleneden Beach or Lincoln Beach.
Devil's Punch Bowl is just a little bit farther south, making this home perfect for day trips and sight-seeing. Depoe Bay itself has many charming restaurants and bars worth checking out, and if you continue along the famous Highway 101 you'll find countless places to explore as well as the larger towns of Newport and Lincoln City.
