Play some soft mood music on the CD player, or through the iDock. Of course, the best part of the house is the picture window, with a reading bench to sit with a cup of tea and watch the tide roll in and out. The sunset views are spectacular!

Hungry after a day out in the sun? Head into the eat-in kitchen, where an auburn-stained dining table seats four and faces another glorious window. The kitchen (which does not include a dishwasher) is a fun spot, with a mosaic-tiled floor, shuttered cabinets, and white appliances. Cook up all your favorites or store quick snacks - don't forget your own coffee for the coffee maker, or fresh fruit for the blender!

This comfortable abode hosts up to six guests. Its single level design makes this a great home for guests with limited mobility to get the most out of their beach experience. The relaxing bedroom has a queen bed with striped, nautical-inspired bedding and blue curtains. In addition, guests can enjoy the use of a double bed and a walk-in shower stall. The living room's sofabed offers more flexibility for sleeping arrangements. You'll also have access to a super handy mudroom/laundry room.

Newport is a popular Oregon Coast destination and has many fun shopping and eating opportunities. Take a stroll to Panini Bakery, the Deep End Cafe, or Zach's Bistro. To get to the shore, simply head a little more than a block north, or stroll down to the Nye Beach Turnaround. Walk the boardwalk and watch the fishermen haul in a fresh catch, or the sea lions sunbathing on the docks. Play in the sand, fly a kite, or hunt for clams to make your own chowder!
