Dog-friendly, comfy cabin only two blocks from the beach!

This bright and cozy Cannon Beach vacation rental is a wonderful, budget-friendly way to enjoy a fabulous beach getaway! With just enough space for two guests and two dogs, this cabin is efficient, comfortable, and just two blocks away from the ocean!

Located in the lovely Tolovana Park neighborhood of Cannon Beach, the business district's bustling blocks of cafes, restaurants, and shops begin just over a mile from your door. Walk just two blocks west to find easy beach access, and take a half-mile stroll north to see the famous Haystack Rock on a leisurely walk to lunch!

Enter this charming cottage and you will find a bright, clean, and relaxing interior. Although this is not a large house, you will find everything you need to have a comfortable stay. A full kitchen has all the basic appliances - fridge, stove, oven, microwave, and coffeemaker - and equipment you may need to cook up tasty meals during your stay. However, there are so many fabulous eateries in town that you may decide to forgo the cooking and try out different restaurants!

A cozy sitting nook provides a space to look out the window, curl up with a good book, or sit and watch some TV. Use your laptop to access the Internet, bring along some favorite DVDs or Blu-ray movies to watch, or log into your Netflix account and spend a rainy evening streaming shows to the TV. You can even see the ocean from the deck, so feel free to head outside and breathe in that fresh air while gazing at the sea.

The bathroom nestled in the corner of the home has a stand-up shower and lots of light. When it's time to go to sleep, the bedroom has a soft and inviting full-size bed, storage, and a potbelly gas stove to keep you extra warm. The futon in the living room fold out to another full-size bed, so up to two guests will be quite comfortable here.

Don't leave your furry friends behind - this cottage welcomes two dogs up to 65 pounds - though a nightly fee per dog and minimum fee per stay will apply. With a bright interior and windows to let in sunshine, this home feels roomy, clean, and relaxing, so you will be rested and ready to spend time on the beach!

Cannon Beach has an amazing variety of restaurants, shops, and galleries to explore in the heart of downtown, but the quieter Tolovana Park neighborhood has its own hidden gems. Head on a five-minute walk south to neighborhood favorite Sea Level Bakery for a latte and chocolate croissant, then spend the morning building sand castles, beachcombing, or flying kites. Grab a cup of famous clam chowder at Mo's for lunch, or head to the new Warren House Pub for an oyster burger and a frosty pint - both are around a ten-minute walk from the cottage.

An easy half-mile stroll north on the beach will take you to Cannon Beach's most famous landmark: Haystack Rock. If you visit during a low tide, you can discover all sorts of sea stars, anemones, and other ocean life in the tide pools at the base of the rock.

If you feel like taking a scenic drive up the coast, Arch Cape is only five miles north. Stop there and marvel at the views on your way to bustling Seaside, where you can find even more restaurants, shops, and activities, like the family-friendly Promenade's arcade and aquarium.

Book now and look forward to a relaxing stay at this comfortable, dog-friendly, beautiful northern Oregon Coast vacation rental.

This is a very small unit but works fine for 2 adults. There is a single sofa fold out bed but best for child only. Kitchen has all amenities except a dishwasher and is sized accordingly...small oven but fridge is full sized and microwave works well. Hot water heater works great and shower pressure is good albeit...small. Good location short 2 blocks to beach but it is on the main avenue between Cannon and Tolovana. Not much traffic at night though. Good place for a 2 person getaway plus dog friendly!

We loved how close to the ocean we were. Loved all the bunnies! This is a small rustic beach cottage. Everything you need, but not fancy. We loved the simplicity! (Just an FYI - there seems to be a bit of mold by the toilet on the lower wall. ) Thank you for a fun wintery beach getaway!
Manager response:
Hi, Shelli! We are so glad you enjoyed the wonderful location! Housekeeping has done a thorough scrubbing in the bathroom to remove any traces of mold. Thank you!

Perfect bungalow for 2- 3 adults or 2 adults & 1-2 small children. Oceanview home & just a few houses down a short road from beachfront. Oceanview through the back window & view from deck. Queen bed with a small pullout type futon couch for 1 adult or 2 small kiddos. Everything you need for some R&R! Full kitchen, plenty of towels & a large outdoor deck if it's nice out to sit on & watch the ocean waves. Roku/T.V. short walk to grab morning coffee as well. Nice, pleasant stay with great responsive owners!

Great location and easy beach access. The cottage had everything we needed and was cozy, comfortable, and slept well.

Well designed tiny house; works great for up to three.

Great beach access! Perfect for a couple!

House is in the perfect location. Not in the busy part of town but on quieter south end. There is a food mart 3 blocks away with everything you need. From food, wine, toiletries and even wood for your beach fires. Beach is one block away and is the nicest part of Cannon Beach. There are also 2 state parks nearby and cottage is conveniently situated between both. Astoria is a mere 45 minutes away as is the big bridge to Washington. I cannot rave enough about the perfect location. Cottage was so well appointed and so clean. I had an issue with the heat the first morning. One phonecall and issue was fixed. She even brought me a space heater if I needed it. 5 stars is just not enough. I left my heart in that cottage. If found please return to me. Bravo bravo bravo.

The house was in the perfect spot, not in the crowed areas but close to resturants. Sea Level coffee just down the street. Neighbors were friendly and very quiet.

baerfoot bungalow gave us a launch pad from which to visit friends nearby and to explore -- small, yet with everything one needs, the beach being the best feature.

good time

The futon is rock hard and fits one adult, period. The bed is also rock hard. Everything else was fine but sleep is a rather important part of a vacation. We left a day early and found somewhere we could actually sleep. When we called to let them know that we checked out a day early, we were rudely told there were no refunds since we canceled within the 30 day window. I wasn't expecting a refund at all, maybe just a little bit of concern since we did cut our stay short.

The cabin was perfect size for our family. 2 adults 2 kids and a dog. I thought there was plenty of room for everyone and it didn't seem too small for the 4 of us like some reviews suggested. The SHORT walk to the beach was easy and fast. Very close to the ocean. A lot closer then I thought. All the bedding and liens smelled and looked nice and clean. Tons of books and board games in the cabin. Plenty of dishes and silverware for cooking. And there is a propane grill outside on the HUGE deck. We didn't know this since it's not stated in what the cabin has to offer. So it was nice to grill one night. We couldn't figure out how to get the shower to work, and they were very quick to call back and help fix the problem. My kids loved the fact there was some sand toys available to take down to the beach. It did seem as tho no one had stayed in there for awhile, or just didn't use towels, plates, glasses, etc. as these things seemed a little dusty. Overall our stay was wonderful and hope to stay there again!

Small house, pretty good location, could use better cleaning. Not a lot of room or furnishings. Decent enough.

Baerfoot Bungalow made for a great spot to return too after beach walks in the stormy winter weather. We are a family of 3 with a medium size dog and found the space adequate. The proximity to the beach and Haystack Rock was just a short walk and easy to get back to in a hurry when getting caught in a squall. Clean and well maintained property.

Cozy and cute! It's a short walk to the Beach nice entrance and a bench to sit on if you like. Also the Warren House is close enough to walk. Also if you forgot anything there a little store called the Surfcrest Market. North on S Hemlock is cool spot for food and beers called the Cannon Beach

Had a lot of fun. Thanks. Nice place.

We loved this clean and simple, no clutter home. We walked to down town twice and to the beach many times within our couple of days there. The neighborhood is quiet, and a nice stroll to the beach which you can hear and see a bit of the ocean waves from the house.
We would stay here again!

Great spot! Would stay again. We love cannon beach

Small but cozy house, close to the beach and rest of town. Great for a weekend getaway for 2.
Bjoern O. Sep 2015
Great location and setup with a huge sunny deck. Short quiet walk to beach. The main road can get busy which can be loud at night sometimes. The house could use a little bit more maintenance to improve the overall condition.
Steven O. Jul 2015
Really quite small. Deck is nice. It would really be uncomfortable for 4 people to stay here. This really is for two people. Nice little place. A bit small for our taste but was just fine. We enjoyed it.
Crystal L. May 2015
This place is great and i will book again. The only con was the cleanliness of the cabin. They need a new service so that the bedding is clean and fresh between visitors. Other than that this place is a gem!
Manager response:

Cute, quaint, and close to the beach! Definitely recommend this property for a romantic get away from the city. Probably too small for 4 but perfect for two. The house came stocked with great movies and games and you're just moments from the beach and haystack rock. Highly recommended, we will definitely stay here again!!
Manager response:
Thank you for this great review and recommendation!
