The Alsea River, just steps away from the back door, offers spectacular fishing and boating, and the fabulous beaches near Waldport are ready and waiting for you to go beachcombing or exploring tide pools.

This recently remodeled one-bedroom, one-bathroom cabin has a no-frills yet comfortable style and will be a perfect place for guests to relax and escape the stress of everyday life. Because it is at the very end of an already-quiet road, you will enjoy extra peace and solitude here. Large windows throughout the living area allow a marvelous view of the trees and water that will surely delight you.

The living room has two plush recliner chairs where you can put your feet up and behold the sight of the river. The updated kitchen has everything you may need to prepare meals during your stay. If you catch some fish, cook them up here and savor the freshness of your catch. With a stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, and toaster, you will have all the tools you need to whip up nice meals, snacks, or whatever else your heart desires.

In this cabin you will have Internet, a TV equipped with cable and a DVD/VCR player, and a stereo, but you may prefer to sit peacefully and enjoy the quiet sights and sounds of nature instead. If you get chilly, start a fire in the wood-burning fireplace to quickly fill the house with warmth. Bring your own wood!

This home accommodates three people with ease. The bedroom has a soft, comfortable king-size bed where you will sleep soundly. A full bathroom completes the home. There is also a sleeper sofa with new mattress in the living room. Outside, a fully fenced yard for privacy while you use the gas grill to cook up some fish or burgers for dinner.

Waldport is a fairly small, relaxed coastal town that has so much to offer. After you fish for salmon and steelhead trout from your private dock, head into town to the Alsea Bay Bridge area for some crabbing and clamming. If you prefer to visit the beach, many amazing options are available, whether you stay close and visit Patterson Creek, or drive north five miles to explore Seal Rock's enchanting tide pools.

In town you will find several restaurant options, ranging from delicious seafood to authentic Mexican cuisine. For even more dining and entertainment options, drive half an hour north on Highway 101 to reach wonderful Newport and its famous aquarium, alluring antique shops, and varied eateries.
