We really enjoyed our stay at Suntide II Condominiums on South Padre Island. The location is truly fabulous — we loved being able to walk to nearby beach bars and restaurants, and the easy access to the beach was a huge plus. One of our favorite moments each day was watching the sunrise from the patio with coffee, then heading straight out for a walk along the beach. The property amenities were also a highlight. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and pool — the hot tub was the perfect temperature and the pool being heated made it comfortable anytime. Access to the building was easy, and management was very responsive when we needed a few extra paper towels. That said, it’s worth noting that the condo itself could use some updating. The furniture shows wear, the carpet has stains, and the bathrooms are on the small side. The photos make the space look a bit better than it does in person. However, it was very clean, which we appreciated. Overall, for the price and unbeatable location, we would recommend staying here — especially if your priority is beach access and convenience rather than luxury.
