Oceanfront House with Private Hot Tub & Beach Access - Dog-Friendly

Immerse yourself in stunning ocean views, cozy evenings in front of a roaring fire, and a truly relaxing time at this pet-friendly Yachats vacation rental! With one of the best locations in all of Yachats, you'll have a private hot tub, access to the rocky shoreline practically right out the front door, and a long sandy beach just one block away.

The home is located directly on the beach with a rocky access point in front, and a sandy coastline just one block to the north. You're within walking distance to gorgeous trails and vistas at Yachats Ocean Road State Natural Site overlooking Cape Perpetua, and exactly a mile from charming downtown restaurants and shops!

When you enter this single-level beach cottage, you'll see a large, open living room that boasts a wall of windows looking out at the waves, wood beamed ceilings, and a wood-burning fireplace. You'll be surrounded by whimsical knick-knacks, artwork, and beach-themed accessories.

On stormy afternoons, start a fire and snuggle back on the comfortable sofa to watch the dramatic scene over the ocean. Enjoy low-tech family time with a board game, or turn your attention towards the flatscreen cable TV for a night of DVDs and popcorn. In the mornings, wake the family with happy tunes on the CD player and stereo and soak up the scenery!

You'll be surrounded by vistas of the beach while you sit at the dining room table with morning coffee. This also makes quite an ideal spot for viewing an after-dinner sunset. Of course, it is just a quick walk down to the beach to view it out on the sand while you smell the ocean air.

The full kitchen has all major appliances (including a dishwasher), so you'll be able to stay in for hearty family meals. In addition, you'll also have some extras like a blender, slow cooker, toaster, and a coffee grinder here, so you may find that you look forward to playing chef while on vacation. You can even use the WiFi to find the perfect recipe for clam chowder online.

In the garage there's a gas grill for a family barbecue and plenty of space to enjoy the great outdoors. Spend a sunny afternoon flipping burgers and watching the kids play. There's also outdoor furniture, so as long as the weather's nice, there will be no need to head inside to eat. Or, soak in the private hot tub in any weather!

This Oregon vacation rental will sleep up to six guests and two dogs (with an additional nightly pet fee). When it's time to turn in, the two lovingly decorated bedrooms have a king and a queen bed. Also, there's a futon in the sunroom for more sleeping options or as an ideal spot to curl up with a good book. You'll also have two full bathrooms and a washer and dryer here - so go ahead and get your pant legs wet in the ocean.

Right from the front door, you can cross the street and sit on a bench while you gaze out at the ocean and watch the waves roll in. The beach is rocky right outside Patty's Sea Perch Oceanfront home - perfect for exploring tide pools, but if you walk down a block, you'll have a long stretch of flat, sandy beach to explore.

If you venture just a bit north of Smelt Sands Recreation Site, you can wander the historic 804 Trail. Take an afternoon and build sandcastles, fly kites, or just beachcomb and look for shells. On the south end of town, you can walk along the also historic Amanda Trail, which leads all the way to the top of Cape Perpetua.

On nights you don't feel like cooking, cross the creek to the downtown area for a fancy meal out at Ona Restaurant, or a more relaxed evening, check out the Drift Inn for live music, burgers, and pints of beer. And be sure to start at least one morning at the Green Salmon Coffee and Tea House for fair trade lattes and freshly baked breakfast snacks.

This Central Oregon Coast vacation rental has it all - spectacular ocean views, close and easy beach access, and a comfortable, laid-back interior that will make the whole family feel right at home.
