Beautiful Home with Deck, Shared Pool and Hot Tub - Near the Slopes

Plan a memorable family getaway at this beautiful and spacious three-bedroom Bend vacation home in the popular and desirable River Wild development at Mt. Bachelor Resort. With a location less than 20 minutes from the slopes (there's even shuttle service available), you'll be skiing and snowboarding in no time. And in the summer months, you're only steps away from the Deschutes River Trail for hiking, biking, and other high desert outdoor activities.

Once inside you'll find a large, open great room/living room with a neutral color scheme, tall ceilings, lots of windows for natural light, and a gas fireplace for keeping the space warm and cozy. For the evening's entertainment (if you choose to stay in) there's a TV with a DVD player and cable so you don't have to miss the game or your favorite TV show. Plan a movie night with snacks, popcorn, and drinks, or just find a quiet spot to curl up with a book after everyone else has gone off to bed.

On the nights you are not enjoying one of Bend's great restaurants, this River Wild home features a gourmet-style kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a five-burner gas range, countertop island with a breakfast bar, and gorgeous hardwood floors. There's enough room for everyone to lend a hand and chop vegetables or for the foodie in the group to give an impromptu cooking lesson.

When it's time to sit down for a meal, in addition to the breakfast bar (a great kid's table), the formal dining area will seat up to six. After a day flying down the slopes, dig into a homemade lasagna, crusty French bread, and a bottle of red wine. And on nice sunny afternoons, you'll find that an outdoor dining table on the spacious wrap-around deck is the perfect spot for a light lunch before a hike or use the gas grill for a cookout - just grab the chops, steaks, and vegetable skewers at the grocery store in town.

The king master suite is on the main floor and will pamper it's lucky occupant with all of the comforts from home. At the end of the day, snuggle down into high thread-count bedding, surrounded by fluffy pillows and warm, cozy covers. There's a TV for late-night viewing and an attached full bathroom. This room also has access out onto the deck, so when the sun wakes you up, you can head outside to enjoy the sound of early morning birds or do some yoga stretches while the rest of the house sleeps in.

The two additional bedrooms are located upstairs - one with a queen bed and the other with twin-over-full bunk beds and a trundle bed. These two rooms share a bathroom (there's another half bath located downstairs). Both of these bedrooms have their own TVs with cable. In addition, there's WiFi throughout the house so checking email and getting online is easy whether you're in bed, out on the deck, or making the morning's coffee down in the kitchen. Other amenities include a washer and dryer, iPod dock, blow dryers, and alarm clocks.

Without even leaving the resort, you'll be able to take advantage of a number of amazing amenities! A short stroll on the Deschutes River Trail will take you to the community pool, hot tub, and tennis court - there's even a playground for the kids! And in winter, Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort is just a short drive away, or hop on the shuttle and get there without even having to start the car. Enjoy skiing and snowboarding for all levels at Mt. Bachelor ski resort, as well as cross-country skiing and snowshoeing throughout the Bend area.

Summertime brings its own set of activities to Central Oregon, including rock climbing and hiking at Smith Rock State Park, over 20 miles of trails for running, walking, or hiking on the Deschutes River Trail, and white water rafting on the Deschutes River.

Scenic downtown Bend is only three miles northeast with its cafes, bookstores, galleries, and the charming duck-and-greenery-filled Drake Park. Year-round, Wall and Bond streets are vibrant with shopping and people watching. After working up an appetite, stop in for a Mediterranean-inspired feast at Joolz or Zydeco Kitchen for shrimp etouffee and drinks. The whole family will enjoy a trip to the High Desert Museum to view outdoor animal exhibits, artwork, and insights into the area's history.

This Bend vacation rental is ideally-situated to enjoy both skiing at Mt. Bachelor, sightseeing in downtown Bend, and shopping at the Old Mill District. Offering comfort and an abundance of amenities, the whole family will feel at home at this Central Oregon getaway!

Perfect for 2 families of 4 (kids 8, 9, 10, 10). Close to biking, river and restaurants. Well stocked with dish soap, laundry detergent, salt/pepper, plenty of towels and games for the kids. Large two car garage, but only fits 1 truck/suburban. Bring your own beach towels for the pool.
Nicole W. Feb 2022
The location is close to downtown, the river walks and Mt.Bachelor. Kitchen well stocked. Perfect home for two families

Location and home recommend.
Had some mechanical issues. Their customer support right there for you. Important to have good support when stuff happens.

What a great home for family. We had so much fun!! Home is spacious and comfortable, felt right at home. Nice neighborhood for walking and enjoying the trees and outdoors!
Julie and S. Jun 2021
This was a great house: good location and clean and comfortable. There are nice walking trails nearby and the neighborhood was quiet. Our only issue was not with the house, but with the pool. It was nice and not crowded, but the hours were reduced to 11am-6pm and the hot tub was not functional. Overall though, I highly recommend staying here.
Erin W. May 2021
This was a nice comfortable home very close to the river, walking trails and within a short drive to restaurants and grocery store. The rooms were comfortable, the kitchen had adequate cooking supplies and the deck was great for relaxing. There is a toy box in the living room that entertained our young kids which was appreciated. We had a few issues during our stay- the hot tub was closed despite the listing advertising the availability of a hot tub, the cover for the thermostat was broken (but could still be used by pushing random buttons), there were dripping faucets, the carpets appeared to not have been vacuumed well and the "comforts" of a house were minimal (no kleenexes, no blankets for living room, and minimal towels in the bathrooms). Overall, it was a good stay, but it is clear this is a high volume rental home.
Manager response:
Hi, Erin! We appreciate you letting us know about your visit. The faucet leak and thermostat cover have both been repaired, and the carpets have been professionally cleaned. Thank you!

Wonderful home for a stay for 2 couples.
Easy to get to the mountain, and then back home for a nice dinner!
Oliver P. Aug 2020
We stayed here for one week with two families and loved it. The house is nicely updated. Our families loved spending time at the pool and walking the trail down by the river!
Phillip H. Mar 2020
House was well equipped and has a great location. Loved staying here.
Debbie B. Jan 2020
The home was perfect in every way. It was beautiful and close to the slopes. It met our every need and then some.
Chris O. Aug 2019
We had a great time in Bend! This house is in a great location with easy access to river trails, other so many other fun things that Bend has to offer - not to mention the pool! The great accommodations allowed us to relax after fun days spent adventuring outside!

Well appointed, perfectly located. Beautiful wrap around porch. Exactly what we needed.

Location, great space, and perfect for two families to share
Tom H. Jun 2018
Enjoyed the openness of the kitchen / family room. Great that the master bedroom is on the first floor. This is our 3rd stay at this property and we plan to come again.
RONALD J. Mar 2018

We had a great time. Good location and accommodations. No concerns.
Vicki P. Jan 2018
Beautiful home in a great Bend location close to Mt. Bachelor for skiing and not far from downtown and all its fun. Nice walking path very, very close.

The house itself is very nice and perfect for families, but old furnishings such as very hard master bed with little padding and very dirty carpeting distract from your first impression. The kitchen is lovely with all you need for cooking.
Audrey M. Nov 2017
The house overall was nice and we enjoyed our stay. My daughter enjoyed the new to her toys that were available. It was a comfortable stay and we enjoyed how close we were to downtown Bend.
Ben C. Nov 2017
Great location, very clean and quiet
Mary Kay B. Oct 2017
Great meals, fun waterfalls and great museum.
William J "Joe" W. Jul 2017
Property very convenient to river and river trails. Nice small swimming pool nearby that a lot of times you were the only ones there and also sometimes filled with a lot of friendly people. Home nice and spacious with modern appliances and all the windows were great. We enjoyed ourselves very much.
Joe V. Jul 2017
Great place to stay.
Gale I. Jun 2017
Very nice house on the banks of the river. Lots to do and see and good location to the town area.
Eric P. May 2017
Had a great time on the river with some tubes we bought from Walmart - but - caution should be taken - There are some massive rapids to avoid right need the access to the river from the unit. Put in below the class 4 rapids that really are Wild :-)
Bring or rent bikes - the area is very biking friendly

The Flagstaff Strawberry Gang :-)

We loved this home rental!!

Perfect for people like us who love to ski. Loved Bend
Jeffrey W. Jan 2017
What a great mini vacation. 12" of new snow the day we hit the Mt. followed by 2 bluebirds after that. We have stayed at this home multiple times now and will be back again for sure. The home is well maintained, super clean and well stocked. I can't think of a thing we needed that wasn't there. The Mt. is an easy 20 minute drive and you can walk to a few restaurants, breweries on the west side from this location if you desire. I only have two suggestions for the owner. One, would be to add some overhead or more lighting in the bedrooms. Two, the man door to the garage needs to be adjusted. It is very hard to open and close. Other than that, we will be back to enjoy your home again. Thanks for having us.
Marijoyce R. Jan 2017
As a family of 6 adults, this was a clean comfortable home which was conveniently located to the mountain sports and dining and shopping. I would highly recommend this property!

If you Lived in Bend Or you home now
Patrick T. Sep 2016
This is a steal at the price! This place was amazingly clean and what a location!! Parking can be a bit interesting if you have a puck-up or a Suburban type vehicle and the garage barely fit my truck. But it all worked out just fine! The surrounding area of this place is amazing! There's trailheads to the Deschutes river right on the property! This place really was perfect and all it was advertised and more!
Teresa R. Sep 2016
Lovely house! Great furnishings and very tastefully decorated. Great central location to Bend and to the mountains. Couldn't have been happier with this property.
Terry K. Jul 2016
Would stay here again

Beautiful home. Neighbors were very friendly. Loved it.
Lynn G. May 2016
My husband and I spent 4 days (3 nights) here and loved it. The location was great and there is plenty of room to relax after spending the days in the outdoors, hiking and cycling.

We really appreciated the stocked kitchen and the oversized garage (great for bikes and skis)!

We had a visit from a deer (just outside the front door) and also enjoyed watching the roller skiers go by in the morning.

We'll definitely be back!
Marianne D. May 2016
The house was beautiful! The only issues I had was with communication with VACASA. I had to call several times to get the door code. The dryer was not working and we had a load of wet clothes. I called the office but as usual you just get a recording. I asked for the dryer to be fixed but no one ever called me back or showed up to fix the dryer.
Manager response:
We are very sorry to see that these issues were not resolved during this guest's stay. We have been very busy on the phones and are currently hiring and training more employees so we are better equipped to handle the call volume.
Paula C. Mar 2016
Home was perfect for us. Loved grandparents king room on the first floor.
Rhonda H. Jan 2016
This home was perfect for our family gathering. It is spacious and very comfortable.
Tom H. Nov 2015
This place was just like home. Perfect to have a master bedroom on the ground floor as well as two large rooms upstairs that share a large bathroom. The huge two car garage was a bonus. The neighborhood was quaint & quiet.
Only issue was parking for guests, but we worked it out ;) We will be back for a summer stay as well.
Gail V. Aug 2015
This home is well situated, close to all the activities our family loves, swimming (river or pool), mt bike trails, good roads for road biking, tennis, etc. It is well maintained and equipped, comfortable, very clean. One thing I'd change... a bottle of spray cleaner would have been helpful to keep kitchen clean and neat!
Ramona P. Aug 2015
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. We were attending a reunion at the Mt Bachelor Resort and it was very convenient for our needs. Everthing was just as advertised, the only thing we would recommend is to provide washclothes for your guests.
Steve G. Apr 2015
everything was great with this property, really enjoyed it, and plan on stayin there again.
Debbie K. Apr 2015
Bend is one of our favorite get-a-way spots! We have stayed in this area previously and had intended to vacation at another home we love located at Widgi Creek. However, it was not available for the dates we needed. Although we still love the other home, I'm glad we were able to find an alternative that we love almost as much! We had 6 adults and 1 very busy 2 year old, the accommodations were perfect! We will definitely be looking to stay here again in the future.
Jane C. Jan 2015
We stayed here with our two little kids and my parents. It was perfect for a family + grandparents with the two master suites. Bend is awesome!
Brynn G. Jan 2015
We had a fantastic stay here on our ski trip. The condo is super close to Mt. Bachelor, you basically turn left and follow the road for 20 minutes. Loved the fireplace and all the games that were available. Beds were really firm and very comfortable. We also used the hot tub at the lodge, we were the only ones in it at 9am. Safeway is less than two miles away and the oven and coffee maker worked great. The only complaint we have is that our Subaru Impreza wagon bottomed out pulling into and out of the garage, and our car isn't particularly low. We ended up parking in front of the garage the whole time. Would definitely stay here again!
Mark D. Jan 2015
We were very pleased with this home.
Excellent location near Bend & Mt. Bachelor.
Beautiful Home with tasteful decoration .
All detail covered, large rooms with
beds for 8 persons. The 2-car enclosed garage
was a plus and the wrap around porch was
another great feature as well as the fireplace.
exceeded our expectations and would not hesitate to stay again in the future.
Allison H. Nov 2014
Everything you would want in a vacation stay.
John P. Nov 2014
This house exceeded all of our expectations.
Julie G. Aug 2014
Only reason we would not stay in this location is that we were a little apprehensive about the kids playing on the street. There is no yard area for them to play in and with it being a corner and a narrow street... there just wasn't much of a spot for them to play without us worrying a bit. Having said that, we loved the house and the proximity to other places, so if we didn't find an alternative, we'd stay here again. Beautiful home, great stay!
Robert L. Aug 2014
Great property, good kitchen and outdoor space. Very nice neighbor helped us out with the barbecue. Everyone in our party commented on what a beautiful house this was with a great location. Thank-you
Ananda D. Aug 2014
A lovely home in a beautiful location. My family and I had a great time. We even had a welcoming committee of a family of California Quails.
