LOCATION
Alma Alta sits at the summit of Quartzville Road on the eastern slope of Mt. Bross, about 30 minutes from Breckenridge. The Lincoln Peak Trailhead is a 6-minute walk from the driveway. Kite Lake and the DeCaLiBron loop are about 30 minutes away by car. Montgomery Reservoir, Wheeler Lake, and Hoosier Pass are nearby for fishing, biking, and scenic drives.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
Alma Alta sits at 11,300 feet. Guests arriving from lower elevations may notice the altitude, especially on the first day. Take it easy when you arrive, stay hydrated, and allow time to acclimate before strenuous activity.
From September through May, mountain driving conditions apply, and 4WD or AWD is required. Once you arrive, your vehicle stays out of the weather in the heated garage.
SECURITY CAMERAS
One exterior camera monitors the driveway and entry area. No cameras are located inside the home or in private outdoor spaces.

Alma Alta is built into the eastern slope of Mt. Bross, just below the treeline. Mt. Lincoln and Mt. Cameron rise to the north and west, with Mt. Democrat just beyond — together with Bross, these four peaks form the DeCaLiBron. To the east, the view opens across the valley to Mt. Silverheels, with the Continental Divide visible at Hoosier Pass. The Lincoln Peak Trailhead is a 6-minute walk from our driveway; the full DeCaLiBron loop starts at the Kite Lake Trailhead, a 30-minute drive. Nearby Montgomery Reservoir and the Middle Fork of the South Platte River offer world-class trout fishing, and Wheeler Lake trail is great for hiking, mountain biking, and off-road enthusiasts.
