Inside, the open living and dining area centers on a kiva fireplace, with a full kitchen finished in talavera tile, a cozy sitting area and gallery wall, and a wet bar for gathering. Each window frames a different piece of the high-desert landscape and the mountains to the south.

The full kitchen is finished in blue talavera tile with a stainless range and everything you need to cook in, plus a wet bar and a breakfast nook. The open living and dining area gathers around a kiva fireplace, with a comfortable sitting area and a washer and dryer for longer stays.

The outdoor space is the heart of El Nido. You'll find two separate spaces where you can set up the perfect vacation luxuries. The enclosed portal has a stone dining table and an outdoor seating area with a grill for cooking. While the larger space has a private hot tub and a quiet seating space under open skies with mountain views. It is a perfect spot for morning coffee or stargazing after a day in Taos. Just beyond the seating area and hot tub you'll find a cozy and covered patio space with seating and beautiful hanging chair that overlooks the valley and mountains.

El Prado is a quiet residential area in northern New Mexico, just north of the historic town of Taos and on the way to Taos Ski Valley, about two miles from the village of Arroyo Seco.

A car is recommended for exploring Taos and the surrounding area. The town of Taos and its Plaza are a few minutes south, Taos Ski Valley is about a 25 minute drive, and Albuquerque International Sunport is roughly 2.5 hours away.
