Gorgeously situated to face the Pacific Ocean and the wondrous rugged cliffs of The Sea Ranch, this home is just steps from the Bluff Trail and one mile north of Black Point and the Sea Ranch Lodge.
With paneled walls, hardwood floors, and soft leather furnishings, the living room is full of rustic atmosphere and plush comfort. Watch the morning fog blanket the ocean, or use the telescope to search for passing grey whales, harbor seals, and dolphins. The panoramic ocean views continue in the full kitchen, which features a large refrigerator, plentiful counterspace, and a dishwasher to take care of the clean-up. Sip your morning coffee by the window at the kitchen table, or share pancakes and bacon with your loved ones around the dining room table for six. But nowhere are the views more magnificent than on the large ocean-facing deck, where guests can relax in Adirondack chairs, use the gas grill to prepare al fresco meals, and soak their sore hiking legs in the luxurious private hot tub.

From the kitchen to the deck, everything in this home is at your disposal. The private hot tub is available around the clock -- no reservation needed. This home welcomes up to 1 dog -- the yard and nearby trails are ready for your pup. Parking is available in the garage. Detailed check-in instructions, including the door code, will be provided prior to your arrival. As a guest, you also have access to Sea Ranch community amenities including the pools, tennis courts, fitness center, and miles of trails. A recreation pass will be provided.
Swimming pools and tennis courts are also available at the Sea Ranch Del Mar, Ohlson, and Moonraker Recreation Centers. Gualala is a quick 10-minute drive south for groceries, dining, and fuel. For a scenic outing, Jenner and Bodega Bay are further down Highway 1.
It's also only eight miles south of the Sea Ranch Golf Links, nine miles from the shops and restaurants of Gualala, and 28 miles from the Point Arena Lighthouse and Museum. This home is also just 58 miles south of Mendocino - the perfect day trip for those in search of a majestic coastal drive along California Highway 1. Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa is the nearest airport, about 1.5 hours east. A car is essential for exploring the area.

Sea Ranch has three recreation centers with heated pools, saunas, and tennis courts. Access passes are provided with your stay -- check availability upon arrival as these shared amenities can be popular during peak times.
Exterior lighting is minimal by design to preserve the stunning dark sky -- bring a flashlight for evening walks and enjoy some of the best stargazing on the California coast.
December through April is whale season. You may spot gray whales breaching right from the bluff trail nearby. Wildflower season (April-June) transforms the coastal bluffs into a tapestry of color -- worth an extra walk on the trails. Summer offers long days and warm afternoons, though the iconic Sonoma Coast fog often rolls in at sunrise and clears by noon.
Up to 1 dog are welcome. Please keep dogs on leash on trails and clean up after them.
