With breathtaking views of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore, easy beach access, and local shops and restaurants just a short walk or bike ride away, this coastal retreat offers the perfect setting for your next Hatteras Island vacation.

The top level is where the ocean views truly shine! Relax in the comfortable living area surrounded by beautiful coastal scenery, or step through the sliding glass doors onto the furnished oceanfront sundeck to enjoy your morning coffee with the waves as your backdrop. The adjoining dining area also offers ocean views, while the beautifully updated, well-equipped kitchen makes preparing family meals a breeze.

When it's time to unwind, Windy Dunes offers four comfortable bedrooms, including two king primary suites. Three bedrooms are located on the lower level, each offering ocean views, while the fourth bedroom is conveniently situated on the top floor with an updated private bathroom featuring a tiled shower and double-sink vanity.

Spend your days soaking up the sun on the beach, grilling your favorite meals on the oceanfront deck, or exploring everything Avon has to offer. Guests can also enjoy seasonal community pool access, providing another way to cool off after a day in the sun.

Community Amenities: The Club Hatteras Community Pool and Playground are located at 41156 NC Hwy 12 Avon, NC 27915. The pool is generally open seasonally. Please note that the operation of community pool dates and times may vary dependent on weather and pool management companies.

Around Avon Village: There's plenty to enjoy beyond the beach! Grab fresh local seafood, browse locally owned shops, or cast a line from the historic Avon Fishing Pier. Outdoor enthusiasts can take advantage of nearby ORV beach access ramps or head to the Haulover Day Use Area for easy sound access, watersports, and beautiful views across the Pamlico Sound.
