El Faro is a great complex with the best pool around. This was our 8th time at the complex and first time in this unit. It's close to many bars and restaurants. There are some concerns about the deck by the ocean. I hope they can find a way to fix it, as it was marked off with caution tape the whole month we were there.
We had an issue with the wifi when we arrived. Vacasa made us aware, but it took 6 days to fix it. I did ask for a credit, which they agreed to. We didn't have any kitchen towels, and the kitchen garbage was the size of a bathroom garbage can. I messaged, and they sent a 13 gallon garbage and a few kitchen towels, which was appreciated. We were only given 3 bathroom towels, and brought more after I requested it. I appreciated how quick Vacasa responded.
We had more than enough glasses, plates and silverware, which can be tricky in rental units here. The sofabed was uncomfortable in spots, definitely not for 2 people. The kitchen cabinets have been replaced; updated photos would be good. There is no dishwasher contrary to the listing. The microwave shelf is not level and feels like the microwave is going to slide forward, but it was ok. If you are a light sleeper, I would recommend a white noise machine or app on your phone. It gets very noisy at night, not just from the band next door but from people below the unit on the street. My only real complaint is that this seemed to be the only unit in the complex without furniture on the balcony. Since we were staying a month we spent $50 on cheap plastic furniture so we could enjoy the balcony. I hope they leave them there for others to enjoy. There was two camp chairs in the unit, but they were rusted and not stable.
Overall, it was a good month away.
