Perfect place to rest your head for a weekend of skiing. Nothing fancy, but it has three warm beds, a full kitchen, and is only 1 mile from the slopes.

This condo was a spacious condo. Each room had its own TV & bathroom. Perfect ski in ski out location.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home at Smugglers Notch resort. It has plenty of room and everything we needed during our stay to unwind after a day of skiing or to prepare meals. The condo is very clean and nicely decorated. It’s walking distance to the community pool and Fun Zone and a short drive to the resort ski lifts, restaurants and stores. Highly recommend!

Plan your Jeffersonville getaway

Jeffersonville vacation rentals make a practical home base for exploring the Upper Green Mountains. Stay closer to the village for galleries, the rail trail, and local stops, or look toward the Smugglers' Notch area when skiing and resort activities are the main focus.

Each home is unique, so compare location, property type, parking, pet policies, kitchens, WiFi, laundry, outdoor space, and seasonal access before booking.

Things to do in Jeffersonville

Jeffersonville's strongest itinerary mixes four-season mountain recreation with an easy rail-trail outing and time for the village's arts and farm culture. Nearby parks add hiking and scenery while remaining separate from the village itself.

Smugglers' Notch Resort

Smugglers' Notch Resort offers skiing and riding in winter, plus a changing lineup of warm-weather activities and family programming. It is a strong fit for travelers who want to organize several days around one mountain base.

Best for:

Smugglers' Notch State Park

Located on the Stowe side of the mountain pass, Smugglers' Notch State Park features a dramatic scenic corridor, hiking access, picnic areas, and connections to the Long Trail. The park works well for hikers and scenery-focused travelers, but Route 108 through the Notch closes in winter.

Best for:

Lamoille Valley Rail Trail

The Lamoille Valley Rail Trail is a 95-mile, four-season corridor connecting 18 northern Vermont towns, including Cambridge. Its firm crushed-stone surface supports walking, cycling, and other permitted seasonal uses, making it an adaptable outing for active travelers.

Best for:

Bryan Gallery

Bryan Gallery's Jeffersonville location showcases New England landscape art and carries forward the Lamoille Valley's long painting tradition. Rotating exhibitions make it a useful cultural stop for art-minded visitors or anyone adding an indoor break to an outdoor itinerary.

The Farm Between

The Farm Between is an ecological farm, nursery, and farm stand offering local products and prepared foods, with seasonal events and workshops announced separately. It suits travelers looking for a small-scale local stop near the village.

Where to eat in Jeffersonville

Dining is easiest to plan around Jeffersonville village and the Route 108 corridor toward Smugglers' Notch. Options are limited compared with larger Vermont towns, so review current days and hours before setting out, especially outside peak travel periods.

Martell's at the Red Fox

Martell's serves a broad menu alongside Vermont beer and live music near the Smugglers' Notch corridor. It can fit a casual meal after a mountain or trail day, with reservations recommended by the restaurant.

Jeffersonville local tips

Day trips from Jeffersonville

Jeffersonville keeps the Upper Green Mountains central while putting several distinct regional outings within a realistic day. Choose one based on whether your group wants a village, a city-and-lake day, or warm-weather beach time.

Stowe

Stowe makes a comfortable half-day or full-day outing, with a walkable historic downtown, dining, shops, recreation, and access to Mount Mansfield experiences. Because Route 108 through the Notch closes in winter, travel effort can change by season.

Burlington

Burlington works best as a full-day city outing for Lake Champlain views, restaurants, arts, and downtown activity. It adds an urban contrast to a mountain-centered Jeffersonville stay.

Sand Bar State Park

Sand Bar State Park is a warm-weather half-day or full-day outing on Lake Champlain, with a sandy beach, swimming, picnicking, and paddling options. The park operates seasonally, and pets are not permitted.
