Where is Parowan, UT?

As the first settlement in Southern Utah back in 1850, this town is sometimes called the "Mother Town of the Southwest", and does its name justice. With Highway 15 grazing the west side of town, you can hop on the freeway and head south to Cedar City 20 miles away, and Hurricane and St. George about 65 miles away for outlet malls, boutique shopping, and more.

The Kolob Canyons visitors' center at Zion National Park is just over 35 miles from town, with scenic drives and hiking trails within easy reach for a jaw-dropping day trip.

Perhaps the best part about this amazing location, though, is that stunning Brian Head is barely 13 miles through the canyon. From downhill skiing and snowboarding to family-friendly tubing, there's more than enough to keep anyone happily amused!
