We loved staying here! It is a beautifully appointed home, down to the smallest details. We comfortably slept 7-8 adults plus a child and baby, and the added amenities of pool table, hot tub, Wii Sports and full Xfinity suite, plus a dock to sit on and watch the water made this a space for everyone to have fun. The water view from inside the home and the deep, comfortably furnished front porch were central features of our enjoyment.
The one drawback, which was only slightly inconvenient to us as a family who are fairly close knit, but might pose more of an issue to another group, was that one of the bedrooms is accessible only through two of the other bedrooms. We made it work without much problem regarding privacy, but it wouldn’t be ideal for a group that needs that double bed but wants full privacy. For that reason, it’s worth mentioning here, but it worked okay for us.
We would highly recommend this home. The occasional train going by was a fun and unique addition to the overall adventure. We all hope to come back sometime.
