The Porch Next Door is in my top ten places to stay since I've been using services like Evolve. It's clean, homey, has comfortable seating in every space and the bed is comfy too. It's probably the most well-equipped home-away-from-home yet....there were plenty of dishes and silverware, pots and pans, dishwasher, blender, toaster, coffee makers, etc and things I didn't even expect to find like sharp knives to cut veggies with! There were even dishwasher pods, lots of dish towels, and paper towels provided. There were also laundry pods and dryer sheets in the bathroom cabinet so we didn't have to buy those and could do laundry when we needed to. The location can't be beat...an easy walk to main street in Granville for Whit's custard, lots of restaurants and The Station coffee shop and One Love bike and coffee shop. We rented bikes one afternoon for 24 hours and got 2 days of biking along the bike trail conveniently located right there next to the shop.
The only drawback was that there weren't any screens on the windows so opening windows for fresh air wasn't a thing (we had a few wasps that took advantage of the open windows when we tried to get some fresh air). But the house has great AC, which was helpful at the end of August in Ohio. And you can sit out on the front porch for fresh air when you need it. I also took advantage of the local "lending library" that's perched next to the driveway, and left a few books too.
Overall, I would go back to this house in a heartbeat. And probably will.
