The “cabin” was spacious and well furnished. Although the kitchen was small, it was well supplied to cook and serve a large group. The game room was terrific dining space was ample for eating, crafts, puzzles, and board games. A great place to build family togetherness and awesome memories.

I booked this cabin through Vacasa because I had stayed here a few years ago and had a great experience at that time. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet the same standard.
Upon arrival, there was a very strong fish-like odor throughout the cabin, the best comparison would be a can of tuna left out. Because the booking was through Vacasa, it was difficult to communicate directly with a host. I reported the issue and was told someone could come out the following morning. While trying to locate the source of the smell ourselves, we noticed several cleanliness issues. The floors appeared not to have been properly mopped, and there was a noticeable amount of trash and debris underneath the coffee tables and couches. The kitchen was also understocked, with only two kitchen towels provided and no cleaning supplies available to clean up spills. I had to request additional towels. Both bathrooms had little to no shampoo or body wash. Someone did come out the next day to check on the odor and re-do the floors. I was told they did not smell anything, but they did provide additional towels and a can of deodorizer. While I appreciate that someone came out, the situation still caused inconvenience and discomfort during our stay.
There were also no clear instructions on how or where to dispose of trash, so we ultimately had to drive home with it.
Overall, the cabin itself is beautiful and the location is excellent, which makes this experience disappointing. I truly hope these issues are addressed, as with better cleaning, clearer instructions, and proper stocking, this could once again be a great place to stay.
