This 3 bedroom 4 bathroom home has everything we needed during our stay. The owner came over at 10 PM because we didn't have batteries in one of the TV remotes. I would definitely stay in VP Manor again. Valerie

Very accommodating home. Definitely like the extra touches with fresh flowers, complimentary coffee/tea, creamer, toiletries and much more. Plenty of room and comfortable beds. Thanks!

Me and my wife and son stayed in the home for 3 days. I have a lot of family living in detroit, we are from chicago and I wanted to spend my birthday with family. The house was perfect, very spacious, clean and well equipped for cooking and entertaining my large family. I was impressed with the little extras supplied that I had forgotten like lighters for grill, kleenex and specialty cooking utensils. Sitting outside on the large front porch was very relaxing. The neighbors were very friendly. Will be back soon.

Motown Museum's Studio A, the Diego Rivera murals at the Detroit Institute of Arts, Henry Doorly-caliber exhibits at The Henry Ford, world-class whitewater on the Detroit River, and a craft brewery and street mural scene that covers entire city blocks make Detroit's creative energy as compelling as its history.

What you'll love about Detroit

Hitsville U.S.A.—the original recording studio where Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, and the Jackson 5 created the sound of young America — is one of the most moving cultural landmarks in the United States. The Detroit Institute of Arts is of the finest art museums in the country, while The Henry Ford encompasses the world's largest indoor-outdoor history museum, Greenfield Village, and the Ford Rouge Factory Tour—an unrivaled American history experience.

Local tips

Motown soul, James River rapids, and a city rewriting its story

Go to Motown Museum—Studio A is smaller and more moving than you expect, and the story it tells is one of America's best. Then eat at a Corktown restaurant, walk the Riverwalk, and let Detroit prove it's one of the most rewarding urban destinations in the Midwest.
