Very quiet and out the way but still close to everything
Brown A. | Apr 2024
The Balcony House is a very cute place in the Garden District. It was a short couple of blocks walk to the streetcar, which we utilized frequently, and a short Uber/Lyft from downtown and the French Quarter when needed as well. The beds and bedding were comfortable, we appreciated the clothing racks and hangers, and the complimentary toiletries were a nice touch. The property management company was just a text away at all times when we had questions. Would definitely recommend!

Location was great. Ease of communication was great. WiFi was a problem

Visiting New Orleans, Louisiana’s heart and soul

You haven’t experienced Louisiana until you’ve been to New Orleans. From the French Quarter to Bywater, from Midcity down to the Garden District, every corner of the city is crowded with colorful, historic houses, wafts of live jazz music, and delicious fried treats. Catch a ride on one of the historic streetcars, which have been going since 1835---the oldest continuously operational lines in the world. Whether you’re here for Mardi Gras or not, you’ll find New Orleans’ charm irresistible.

Other Louisiana destinations

Baton Rouge, the home of Louisiana State University, is the state’s capital and boasts beautiful landmarks like the Old Louisiana State Capital (now a museum). Shreveport, in the northwest corner of the state, is bursting with riverboat casinos, boating, and bayou activities like Gators and Friends Adventure Park. Those in search of coastal activities can visit Louisiana’s gulf destinations, like Grand Isle and Holly Beach.
