Recent Hickory Run State Park vacation rental reviews

We had an amazing stay at Harmony Haven and couldn’t have asked for a better place for our family. The house was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The kids were thrilled—our younger kids loved the foosball table and Pac-Man game, and our teenage kids couldn’t get enough of the hot tub. There was truly something for everyone. The adults especially enjoyed the beautiful lake view and how close the house is to Big Boulder Mountain and Nick’s Restaurant, which made outings and dining super convenient. The location, amenities, and overall comfort made this a standout stay. We would absolutely recommend Harmony Haven and would love to come back again.

The place is very roomy, and we were not crowded at all. It was a bonus that we were able to bring our 7lb furbaby, Coco. Super close to Big Boulder Ski Lodge. Garage parking, the hot tub was ready to go upon arrival. Games provided extra entertainment. The place was 99% clean and did not smell as if any other dogs had been there. There were a few cons, the driveway was slick from snow, combined with steepness, lack of ample cleaning supplies.

We love the bedrooms in this home. This is our second stay at this home. It looks like there's been renovation done to the main living space, which is great. However: During our 3-night stay, on the first day in particular, it was super windy and cold. The living room during such weather is simply brutal to sit in during an extended sit down to watch TV, eat or play games. I'm not usually one to complain about being cold, but there's minimal insulation behind cabinets and kitchen area which yields a constant breeze into the living space... again, this could be on cold/ windy days which we experienced during our stay. That said, the upstairs and bedroom heat is fantastic since since heat rises, but on cold days, the living/ dining room simply isn't ideal for sitting to watch TV ... maybe unless you elevate your legs so you avoid the steady breeze. Even with a jacket and socks, it was still too cold to sit for an extended period.
