Recent Albion vacation rental reviews

This cottage was a prize, the proverbial mythical magical Mendocino get away haven. The cottage itself is beautifully situated overlooking the ocean, where the view from the deck and hot tub is perfect! Two spacious ensuite bedrooms and then a nice living space for gathering around as folks make dinner, etc. Highlight recommended.

Our group had a delightful time staying at Albion Ridge Overlook and we can't wait to return. The home is stunning and well appointed, with all of the mod cons. The proximity to everything Mendocino has on offer is unrivaled. We loved being tucked away in Albion away from the hustle and bustle of town or Ft Bragg. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the sunset and then waiting for the mass blanket of stars to appear. Such a relaxing and comfortable stay. My only complaint is that I eventually had to go home...! I highly recommend this lovely rental home.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is lovely. Unfortunately for us it rained. I definitely suggest eating at the princess fish market

Things to do in Albion, CA

Albion proper is small and quiet, but offers a few conveniences that travelers will appreciate, like a full-service grocery store. There's also a pair of excellent dining options for special nights out, including the Ledford House and the restaurant at the Albion River Inn. Mendocino has even more choices, and the comparatively bustling commercial center of Fort Bragg is less than half an hour north.

The true attraction of Albion is its natural beauty. While the town itself is spectacularly positioned above the churning Pacific Ocean, there are trails to hike, rivers to kayak, and forests to explore further inland. Just north of town is Van Damme State Park, and to the south is the gorgeous Navarro River, flanked by old-growth redwoods.

When you're looking for a truly relaxing Mendocino vacation rental, consider choosing quiet, beautiful little Albion.
