We really enjoyed our stay. Enjoying our morning coffee out on the patio next to the relaxing water of the river and passing boats was great!

We enjoyed this cabin. It is a no frills and basic cabin. No TV service, no wifi, did have a DVD player. VERY spotty mobile reception (like don't plan on actually having service) This was what we were looking for. The boys and my husband planned to fish but I think it was still too early in the season for that (mid march 3 day trip 1 fish total caught lol) Bed in bedroom was soft and comfortable. Upstairs beds were comfortable to the teenagers but the one directly over the bedroom is squeaky. You hear every time they move. Cooking was an adventure. Remember I said basic. Well I luckily realized early it only had one pot big enough to boil pasta so I got my sauce going in the crock pot. Did not have a mixing bowl for pancakes so I used a pitcher which made pouring easy. No spatula if you plan on needing one. Otherwise we made do and had fun. Our biggest downside was there was a burn ban so we could not enjoy having a campfire but someone was burning the hillside across from the cabin so it burned 2 of the 3 days and we were smothered in heavy smoke most of that time. That was a huge disappointment as everyone had coughs and scratchy throats and burning eyes. Wish we knew in advance that someone had a control burn and honestly we would have found somewhere else to stay. Just fyi we were told this happens every spring for a few days but no way to know when.
