The neighborhood:
Hali'i Kai is inside Waikoloa Beach Resort on the sunny Kohala Coast, where black lava fields meet green fairways and the Pacific. Anaeho'omalu Bay is nearby for a golden-sand beach day, snorkeling, and turtle watching, while Kings' Shops and Queens' MarketPlace make groceries, dining, and a casual evening out easy. Golf, coastal walks, and time by the water are close at hand. This is the Big Island's sunny, polished side, with a relaxed resort pace.
Getting around:
Kona International Airport is roughly 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive up the Kohala Coast. A rental car is recommended to reach beaches, restaurants, and the resort area's shops with ease. Waikoloa Beach Resort keeps some shopping and dining walkable, while nearby beaches and Waikoloa Village are a short drive.
