Hanalei Bay is a short drive for its broad sandy beach, surf, and the historic pier, while Anini Beach offers a gentler shoreline for a slower day. This is a peaceful, green base for families and friends who want to explore the North Shore at their own pace.

Getting around:
Lihue Airport is about 40 minutes away via a scenic drive along Kauai's coast. A rental car is highly recommended since the North Shore's beaches, restaurants, and Hanalei's shops are spread out. Princeville itself offers walkable access to some shops and dining, while beaches like Hanalei Bay are a short drive. Parking is typically available in lots or driveways at most properties.
