Explore the wooded natural area, enjoy the firepits, or launch the canoe or kayak on the lake for an aquatic adventure. Franklin is 8 minutes away and Ellsworth is 20 minutes from home.

THE COTTAGE

Relax in the cozy living area and watch a new movie on the smart TV.

The well-equipped kitchen has everything needed to create your favorite dishes. The table seats four.

The Cottage has a queen bed in the bedroom and a full-size futon in the living area. The bathroom is configured with a tub/shower combination. A twin bed can be found in the open loft area. (The loft is accessed via a steep ladder, does not have a railing, and has limited headroom).

The wraparound deck offers amazing vistas of the surrounding woods and peekaboo lake views. Fire up the gas grill and dine alfresco on the deck. Gather around the wood-burning firepit. This lakefront property includes the use of a kayak and canoe.

THE CABIN

Detailed with vaulted ceilings and a wall of windows, the welcoming living area in The Cabin offers a prime spot to enjoy movie nights.

The immaculate kitchen offers a full suite of stainless steel appliances and a two-person kitchen island.

The Cabin sleeps six guests between two bedrooms, a queen sofa bed in the living area, and a full-size bed in the loft (accessed via stairs).

The primary suite has a king bed and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. There is also an attached screened patio, as well as a forest-view balcony.

The second bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, while an adjacent bathroom has a tub/shower combination.

The covered outdoor space has a gas grill and a two-person bistro table. Enjoy evenings by the wood-burning firepit.

Parking is available for four cars (two in each driveway). Due to the property's steep access road, all-wheel drive is suggested year-round and may be required in winter months.

The Cottage has a three-story layout with a ramp to the front door. The Cabin has a two-story layout.

The indoor wood-burning stove in The Cottage is inoperable and there is no air-conditioning. The Cabin does have air-conditioning.

Please note that the dock at the property is not a boat dock.

LOCATION

Nestled on the Great Pond, this vacation rental offers delightful seclusion, but is still only an 8-minute drive from Franklin and a 20-minute drive from Ellsworth.

For an incredible day trip, pay a visit to Acadia National Park or Bar Harbor.
