One of our favorite spots in the villa is the private lanai overlooking the Mauna Lani South golf course.
Fire up the built-in gas BBQ, settle into the outdoor seating, and enjoy a relaxed evening overlooking the beautiful resort landscape. It's a wonderful spot for morning coffee, afternoon drinks, or dinner after a day at the beach.

PRIVATE MAUNA LANI BEACH CLUB ACCESS
One of the highlights of your stay is key card access to the private Mauna Lani Owners Beach Club at Makaiwa Bay.

The Beach Club is approximately a 10-minute walk or a quick drive from the villa and offers:

Mauna Lani is a peaceful resort community on the sunny Kohala Coast, surrounded by dramatic lava landscapes, palm trees, championship golf courses, and beautiful beaches.
Spend the morning snorkeling at Makaiwa Bay, play a round of golf, explore the resort pathways, or enjoy nearby restaurants and shopping.
For even more dining, groceries, and shopping, Kings' Shops and Queens' MarketPlace in Waikoloa are a short drive away.
The location is ideal for guests who want the beach, golf, dining, and resort experience while still having a comfortable home base for exploring the Big Island.

Getting around:
Mauna Lani is located on the Kohala Coast between Kona and Waikoloa.
Kona International Airport is approximately 30–40 minutes away by car. A rental car is recommended if you plan to explore the island. For a fun way to get around, golf cart rentals are available on the island and permitted within Mauna Lani, making it easy to cruise around and explore the resort.
Beaches, restaurants, golf, and shopping within the Mauna Lani area are close by, with additional dining and shopping options available in nearby Waikoloa.

Other things to note:
• The villa occupies the second and third floors and requires an initial walk up one flight of stairs.
• This property is managed by Heavenly Vacations.
• All guests shall abide by Heavenly's good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity.
• Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
