The neighborhood:
Pili Mai sits beside Kiahuna Golf Club in Poipu, on Kauai's sunny South Shore. Poipu Beach Park is nearby for a family beach day, with swimming and snorkeling when conditions allow. The Shops at Kukuiula and Poipu Shopping Village offer restaurants, groceries, coffee, and ice cream without a long drive. Head toward Spouting Horn or Old Koloa Town for an easy change of scene. It is a convenient base for beach time, golf, and South Shore errands.

Getting around:
Lihue Airport is about 30 to 40 minutes away, a pretty drive across Kauai's south shore. A rental car is recommended to reach Poipu's beaches, Koloa town's shops, and nearby dining with ease. Old Koloa Town is walkable for boutiques and restaurants, while beautiful beaches are just a short drive away. Parking is generally available on site or in small lots around town.
