Gateway Grand is at a great location for beach and entertainment. Views from balcony are superb. Home is very well appointed with ample kitchenware including nice wine glasses. Master bath has great shower and plenty of space. Furniture could be updated though in master bedroom and living room. Bed in master bedroom sagged and made so many creaks and groans. We were disappointed. Closet spaces were very generous. Cooling was not balanced as master bedroom got colder than other bedrooms. Storage area for beach items contained in locker that required use of two elevators to access and then a separate freight elevator to move items down a level to access side entrance. On balance, only the beachfront location made up for the inconveniences and high price.

Great location and nice home. Lovely views. I cannot imagine having 11 in this space, but we were comfortable with 6 adults. The employees of the Gateway Grand were very kind and friendly. Our move in was less than desirable however. We weren’t given any key fobs upon checking in and were told parking passes and fobs were given at the location. We had to then rush back down the street before the office closed and had to also talk them into giving us two fobs (even though two are listed as part of the rental and needed anytime you enter the building or parking garage). We arrived in our room at 650pm (almost 3 hours after check in is allowed) and our towels and sheets were in bags on the floor of one of the rooms. Shower curtain liners were very dirty, vents and fire alarms extremely dust covered and it was evident the cleaning was done quickly as there was food and even an Advil on the floor. Two lightbulbs were also out in the unit. I couldn’t reach anyone that evening by phone and got standard response emails back and spent the first hour of my vacation making beds and distributing towels to each room. The sheets are definitely not high end but were fine. We had problems with two bathroom shower drains not going down and had maintenance visit twice during the week. These requests were accommodated quickly but this was also after I finally reached someone and voiced our move in frustration so they seemed more willing to help. Closets were spacious but filled with tons of bags of random extra linens. I was also surprised that we did not have basic items such as extra kitchen trash bags, paper towels and more than 3 extra rolls of toilet paper. We would probably stay at this location again but would need to have conversations with the rental company to ensure certain things were addressed on our next visit.

To clarify, we provide our guests with a starter kit of supplies. This includes cleaning supplies, toiletries, and paper products. Once these supplies run out it is the responsibility of our guests to provide any additional supplies throughout the remainder of their stay. Supplies are restocked before each guest. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused during your time with us. We hope that the refund you were given has helped resolve the issue you experienced.

Condo is on the beach, three bathrooms and three bedrooms. Plenty of storage space such as a pantry. Bring your own beach chairs. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool and Dumsers. Location is nice. Airshow was enjoyable.

We stay at the Gateway Grand every year, but this is the first time in unit 410.

We are used to everything running smoothly but this trip was different. We were early in the season (May 2021) but had a few issues along the way.

The rental office: didn’t give us one the key to the storage locker so we had to make a trip back to the rental office to pick up the key. Then, there was no locker number on the key so we had to call again for the number. When we found the locker, the key didn’t even work, we needed a code, so we had to call once more. Not a huge deal but all the trips, calls, waiting on hold, and leaving messages when we are dressed and ready to go to the beach is a little annoying.

When we finally opened the storage locker, there were only 3 chairs. 1 chair was broken and no umbrellas, sand toys, etc. we are used to having these items with other rental units so make sure to plan ahead.

Next, dishwasher leaked all over floor so we had to call for maintenance twice. They did send someone later that day but wasn't thrilled to have a repairman in our rental when we weren’t there with covid and all.

There is a small table and four high bar-style chairs on the balcony so not the most comfortable or relaxing. Even plastic chairs lower to the ground would’ve been better.

Kitchen pans could use replacing.

Place was very clean.

Left a few items behind and emailed twice to have them shipped but never received a response from the rental company.

Otherwise, Gateway Grand itself very clean and quiet. If we were to return to Ocean City, I’m not sure what we would do. The lack of responsiveness by the management company is concerning. We would definitely not return to this unit, though, not without a few improvements.

We stayed at the Gateway Grand on 48th Street at the beginning of December. Vantage was amazing. They provided a thoughtfully packed kit of welcome `essentials` and had the unit spotlessly prepared. It was beautifully decorated and the beds were as comfortable as ours at home. There was so much space to spread out, and the view is incredible. Perfect location; it is right on the beach and we were able to walk to dinner at Dry 85, ice cream at Dumsers and to the movie theater. Ocean City is lovely and laid-back in the off-season. Every single person we encountered, from booking our stay to the day-before welcome call all the way through checkout, was knowledgeable and professional! Our getaway was as fun as we`d planned because our accommodations were so comfortable and perfectly located. The unit was extremely clean, beautifully decorated, large in scale, and offered a magnificent view. Parking was secure and abundant, and late check-in was a breeze. Stay here for the convenience of having rooms for everyone plus kitchen and laundry...and be dazzled with the luxe-yet-cozy accommodations. I could gush on and on and will recommend to friends. Nothing but top-notch all the way. Totally loved Gateway Grand 410 with everything as described and more. Vantage Realty was helpful and professional as well as the staff at Gateway Grand. Furnishings and amenities were so lovely and high end. We had everything we needed to sleep well, cook meals, make smoothies which my granddaughter could not do without, walk and swim at the beach, morning coffee watching and listening to the water fun. Of course, my favorite thing was listening to the waves and watching the sunrise in the morning. A few light bulbs were needed but, hey, how minor is that. Only a few beach toys but, again, not a big deal. Thank you so much for a fantastic vacation. Hope to be back at 410 next year!
